Mobile Toilet Renovation Process

Quản trị 22 tháng 9, 2026

The renovation process of mobile toilets can be achieved through modular design, with core steps including the construction of the basic framework, installation of the water supply and drainage system, fixation of sanitary equipment, and sealing treatment. Below are the detailed procedures for two typical cases:

Case 1: Water Storage Barrel Renovation Plan

  1. Construction of the Basic Framework
Use an angle grinder to split the water storage barrel in half lengthwise. Fix universal wheels on the wooden board at the bottom to enable mobility. Increase the height of the barrel using wooden strips and self-tapping screws. Cut out a doorway on the side, install sponge strips to form a door frame, embed plastic soft boards to create walls, and use the upper half as a roof to form an enclosed space.

  2. Installation of the Water Supply and Drainage System
Drill holes at the bottom to install drainage pipes to form floor drains, and drill holes on the side to connect direct joints for sewage discharge. Add a plastic barrel on top as a water storage device and connect water pipes to create a simple bathroom heater system. Extend the water pipes to the doorway as the inlet pipe for the sink, drill holes on the door to install a faucet, and complete the closed loop of water supply and wastewater discharge.

  3. Fixation and Sealing of Sanitary Equipment
Install a toilet and fix the water tank, connect the drainage pipe to the sewage barrel to ensure the collection of excreta. Use sealant or rubber rings at all pipe joints to prevent leakage. Reinforce the connection between the wall and the floor with waterproof tape to enhance overall sealing.

Case 2: Water Storage Tank Renovation Plan

  1. Construction of the Basic Framework
Install universal wheels at the bottom of a plastic pallet and place a recycled water storage tank on it. Cut the top of the tank to create an opening, stack two tanks and fix them with self-tapping screws to increase the internal height. Cut out a rectangular doorway measuring 180cm in height and 50cm in width to reserve space for people to enter and exit.

  2. Installation of the Water Supply and Drainage System
Drill holes in the internal floor to install elbow water pipes, fix the toilet and seal it with glue to prevent sewage overflow. Fix water pipes on the wall with clamps, install a faucet and a stainless-steel basin sink, connect the inlet pipe of the toilet water tank and the shower hose, and install a showerhead to form a multi-functional water system.

  3. Fixation and Sealing of Sanitary Equipment
Make a toilet door using wooden boards and hinges, and install door handles to ensure easy opening and closing. Wrap all pipe joints with Teflon tape, apply glass glue at the contact between the bottom of the toilet and the floor, and fill the edge of the sink with waterproof glue to ensure seamless sealing.

Key Points of Renovation: Both plans achieve mobility through modular design. It is essential to prioritize structural stability and sealing to prevent water leakage due to vibration or tilting. When selecting materials, focus on corrosion resistance (such as plastic and stainless steel). Reserve maintenance space in the pipe layout to meet the needs of long-term outdoor use.
