Mobile Toilet Placement Requirements
Quản trị 24 tháng 9, 2026
The placement of mobile toilets should adhere to the following requirements, covering site selection, area division, supporting facilities, traffic flow design, quantity allocation, and other considerations:

Site Selection Principles:
- Convenience and Accessibility: Place them in high-traffic areas that are easily accessible, ideally no more than 100 meters from the main event area, ensuring quick access for users.
- Safety Distance: Avoid placing them near water sources, kitchens, electrical distribution equipment, gas storage areas, etc. Maintain a minimum distance of 15 meters from drinking water sources and food stalls to prevent contamination or safety hazards.
- Environmental Adaptability: Keep them away from entrances, exits, fire exits, and the main airflow of the venue to prevent odor spread or obstruction of emergency evacuation; avoid low-lying and flood-prone areas to prevent toilet damage from immersion.
- Ground Conditions: The ground should be level, slightly elevated, and have good drainage. For muddy ground, it is recommended to lay steel plates or cement pads; hardened surfaces can be used directly.
Area Division:
- Gender Separation: Maintain a minimum distance of 2 meters between male and female toilets, with clear signage at the entrances and different color codes for identification.
- Accessibility Facilities: If the event involves individuals with disabilities, reserve one accessible toilet equipped with handrails and hooks, positioned close to the main pathway.
Supporting Facilities:
- Cleaning and Hygiene: Set up a dedicated cleaning area beside the toilets, equipped with trash bins, disinfectants, and spare toilet paper, and arrange for regular cleaning by dedicated personnel.
- Emergency and Safety: For nighttime events, install emergency lights and post clear usage instructions and emergency contact information at the entrances; in hot weather, consider adding sunshades above the toilets.
- Moisture and Pest Control: Ensure the bottom of the mobile toilets has good drainage; in the rainy season, elevate the foundation to prevent water accumulation; regularly spray mosquito repellent and install mosquito traps.
- Toilet Cubicle Configuration: Each cubicle should be equipped with a trash bin, lighting, and an emergency call button; in hot weather, provide cooling fans, and in cold regions, add heating facilities.
Traffic Flow Design:
- Crowd Guidance: Use arrow signs to guide the flow of people, avoiding cross-congestion, and place clear 'Male' and 'Female' signs in prominent locations, with reflective strips added at night.
- Dining Area Support: It is recommended to add mobile handwashing stations near dining areas, keeping them at least 10 meters away from the toilet area to prevent sewage mixing.
Quantity Allocation:
- Basic Standard: Allocate one mobile toilet for every 50 people, and for large events, consider adding one spare toilet for every 30-50 people.
- Optimization for Large Events: For large-scale events like concerts, allocate one standard mobile toilet for every 500 people, with a recommended male-to-female cubicle ratio of 1:1.5.
Other Requirements:
- Safety Distance: Maintain a safe distance from other temporary facilities (such as stages, dining areas) to avoid noise and odor interference.
- Pathway Planning: Confirm the venue layout with the organizer in advance and reserve sufficient pathway width (at least 1.2 meters) to ensure smooth personnel movement.
- Spare Cubicles: Plan for 3-5 spare cubicles in advance to cope with sudden surges in foot traffic.
