Mobile Toilet Placement Guide
Quản trị 07 tháng 10, 2026
The placement of mobile toilets requires adherence to scientific planning, compliant approval processes, and refined management procedures. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Preliminary Planning
- Demand Estimation
Estimate daily and peak visitor volumes based on the type of venue (e.g., scenic spots, parking lots). Calculate the total number of toilet stalls by considering the male-to-female ratio (typically configured at 1:1.5-2), and add accessible stalls (≥1 per 50 stalls) and child-sized stalls (height ≤0.5 meters). For example, in a scenic spot with a daily visitor volume of 2,000 people, at least 14 rows of female toilets (calculated at 15 people per row) and 6 rows of male toilets (calculated at 25 people per row) are needed. - Site Selection
Prioritize areas close to water supply and drainage points that are easily accessible to visitors, avoiding low-lying areas prone to waterlogging, fire exits, evacuation routes, and landscape vegetation. Ideal locations include scenic spot entrances, rest areas, or main roads, ensuring a distance of over 20 meters from dining areas to avoid odor interference. - Approval Procedures
Conduct joint site inspections in advance with scenic spot management, urban management, road administration, and other relevant departments to complete site approval, road occupation permits, and temporary land use procedures. For example, urban parks need to submit a 'Mobile Toilet Installation Application Form' to the municipal gardening department, accompanied by a floor plan and environmental protection measures description.
II. Transportation and Installation
- Transportation Plan
Utilize nighttime (22:00-6:00) or low-traffic periods for transportation and hoisting. Large scenic spots need to plan dedicated transfer channels (width ≥4 meters). For example, mountainous scenic spots require the use of small cranes for segmented transportation to avoid damaging footpaths. - Ground Preparation
Lay 10mm-thick steel plates or moisture-proof pads on soft ground to prevent settlement. Connect temporary water and electricity (voltage ≥220V, water volume ≥2L/minute). Sewage must be connected to municipal sewers or use sealed collection tanks (capacity ≥1m³ per stall), with strict prohibition of direct discharge. - Registration Management
Number and register each toilet, establish an account, and mark the location, number of stalls, water supply and drainage methods, and responsible person. For example, use QR code labels for management, allowing scanning to view cleaning records and repair channels.
III. Configuration Standards and Dynamic Adjustments
- Row Configuration: For male toilets, configure 25 people per row when the number is less than 100, and add 1 row for every additional 50 people thereafter. For female toilets, configure 15 people per row when the number is less than 100, and add 1 row for every additional 30 people thereafter.
- Dynamic Adjustments: When the actual number of users reaches 80% of the预设 (preset) standard, additional temporary stalls or backup toilets need to be added to avoid waiting times exceeding 5 minutes.
IV. Precautions
- Different brands or models of mobile toilets may have configuration differences. It is recommended to refer to the product manual or consult the supplier. For example, foam-type toilets require regular replenishment of foaming liquid, and microbial toilets require control of the number of users to avoid imbalance of bacterial colonies.
- In practical applications, adjustments should be made flexibly based on the space and traffic characteristics of the venue to avoid resource waste. For example, seasonal scenic spots can reduce the number of stalls during the off-season and achieve rapid assembly and disassembly through modular design.
