How to Connect Pipes for Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

Connecting pipes for mobile toilets involves connecting the sewer pipe and the water inlet pipe. The specific operations are as follows:

Sewer Pipe Connection

  1. Select an Appropriate Location
Before installation, identify a well-ventilated and easily drained site. Ensure there is sufficient operating space around the sewer pipe opening to avoid difficulties in subsequent maintenance. Also, avoid areas with weak wall structures or dense underground pipelines to prevent damage to existing facilities during construction.

  2. Connect the Sewer Pipe
Precisely align one end of the sewer pipe with the sewage outlet of the mobile toilet. Choose appropriate fittings based on the interface type (such as threads or snaps). The other end should extend horizontally along the ground to the main drainage system, maintaining a pipe slope (recommended ≥1%) to prevent sewage backflow or sedimentation.

  3. Use Sealant
Apply PVC-specific sealant or silicone sealant evenly at all connection points (such as the sewage outlet alignment and pipe corners). After application, press continuously for more than 30 seconds to ensure the sealant layer fully fills the gaps. Choose corrosion-resistant, aging-resistant, and environmentally friendly sealant materials to prevent leakage caused by long-term exposure to sewage.

  4. Maintain Sewer Pipe Levelness
Calibrate the pipe angle with a level. The vertical section deviation should be ≤5mm/m, and the horizontal section should maintain a slope of 0.5%-1%. If the pipe needs to pass through walls or floors, install steel sleeves and fill with waterproof materials to prevent interface cracking due to pipe expansion and contraction.

  5. Regular Cleaning
Use a high-pressure water gun to flush the inner wall of the pipe every quarter to remove deposits such as urine scale and feces. In winter, check if the pipe insulation layer is intact to prevent freezing and cracking. If the drainage speed slows down, pour pipe unclogging agents (such as sodium hydroxide solution) for chemical cleaning.

Water Inlet Pipe Connection

  1. Discuss Water Route
Plan the water inlet pipe route with the installer, prioritizing the shortest distance to reduce water pressure loss. Avoid strong electrical lines (maintain a distance of ≥30cm) to prevent electric shock risks. If passing through load-bearing walls, report to the property management in advance and use drilling techniques.

  2. Fix Clamps
Use an electric hammer to drill holes in the wall (the hole diameter should match the expansion tube), with a depth of ≥5cm. Fix PPR pipe clamps with screws, maintaining a spacing that complies with regulations (horizontal pipes ≤80cm, vertical pipes ≤100cm) to prevent vibration noise caused by water flow impact on the pipes.

  3. Hot Melt Connection
Heat the pipe and fittings with a professional hot melt machine (control the temperature at 260±10℃). Adjust the heating time according to the pipe diameter (e.g., heat a 20mm pipe for 4 seconds). After insertion, maintain a cooling time of more than 10 seconds to ensure full fusion of the melted surfaces. After connection, check if the interface is straight to prevent leakage caused by misalignment.

  4. Pressure Test
Close the main water valve and inject a pressure of 0.6-0.8MPa into the pipeline with a pressure test pump, maintaining the pressure for 30 minutes. If the pressure drop is ≤0.05MPa and there is no leakage, it is considered qualified. Wrap tissues around all joints during the test to facilitate observation of minor water seepage.

  5. Clean the Site
Remove construction protection and recycle construction waste. Wipe water stains on the surface of the mobile toilet with a damp cloth. Check if components such as faucets and flush buttons are flexible to ensure no installation residues affect use.
