How to Install the Pillar of a Mobile Toilet

Quản trị 03 tháng 10, 2026

The installation of pillars for mobile toilets generally needs to be carried out in conjunction with the overall installation process, with core steps including pre-installation preparation, positioning and fixing of the toilet body, connection and debugging of the drainage and flushing systems, and finally completing an overall inspection.

Pre-installation Preparation

  1. Site Survey
Determine the installation location in advance to ensure that the ground is flat and solid, and away from main construction roads and pollution sources. If installing near a foundation pit, it is recommended to maintain a distance of more than 1.5 meters from the edge of the pit to avoid affecting the stability of the pillars due to construction vibrations or settlement.
  2. Material Verification
After receiving the mobile toilet equipment, check the completeness of the toilet body and accessories, including door locks, flush valves, and sewage pipes. If the pillars are independent structures (such as support frames), verify that their materials (such as steel or aluminum alloy) and connecting components (bolts and nuts) are complete to avoid installation interruptions due to missing parts.
  3. Foundation Treatment
Based on the type of toilet (single or connected) and the load-bearing requirements of the pillars, clear debris from the ground and then lay a gravel or concrete foundation. The foundation load-bearing capacity for a single-person toilet should be ≥200 kg/㎡. If the pillars are load-bearing structures (such as support pillars for connected toilets), additional reinforcement of the foundation is required to ensure it can withstand the overall weight of the toilet and dynamic loads during use.

On-site Installation Steps

  1. Positioning and Fixing of the Toilet Body and Pillars
Use a forklift or crane to smoothly hoist the toilet body to the designated location, keeping it level to avoid tilting. If the pillars are internal support structures of the toilet body (such as partition frames), fix them using bolts or welding after the toilet body is in place; if they are external independent pillars (such as entrance canopy supports), first fix the pillar feet (such as by embedding anchor bolts or pouring concrete foundations), and then connect the pillar body to the toilet body, ensuring that the verticality error is ≤5 mm.
  2. Connection of the Drainage and Flushing Systems
Connect the sewage pipe to the construction site drainage system or a temporary collection pit, and seal the joints with sealing tape or cement to prevent leakage. If drainage pipes are pre-embedded within the pillars (such as the main sewage pipes for connected toilets), check the alignment of the pipes after fixing the pillars to avoid drainage blockages due to installation deviations.
  3. Debugging of the Flushing System
After connecting the water supply, test the flushing function and check whether the drainage pipes are unobstructed. If a water tank or pump (such as a support pillar for an elevated water tank) is installed near the pillars, confirm that it is securely fixed to avoid vibrations affecting the stability of the pillars during operation.

Post-installation Inspection

After completing the overall installation, check whether the connections between the pillars and the toilet body are secure (such as whether the bolt tightening torque meets standards) and whether the external sealing is good (such as no gaps between the pillar feet and the foundation). Also, test the dynamic stability of the toilet during use to ensure that the pillars do not shake or make abnormal noises.
