Mobile Toilet Manufacturing Methods
Quản trị 23 tháng 9, 2026
There are mainly two methods for manufacturing mobile toilets, which can be selected and implemented based on materials and requirements:

Making a Mobile Toilet Using a Water Storage Bucket
Basic Frame Construction:
- Select a household water storage bucket and use an angle grinder to cut it longitudinally along the midline of the bucket body, creating two half-bucket structures.
- Install universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board to ensure mobility; fix wooden strips to the upper edge of the bucket using self-tapping screws to form an elevated frame (approximately 50-80 centimeters in height).
- Cut a rectangular opening on the side of the water storage bucket as a doorway, attach sponge strips on both sides to form a door frame, and insert plastic soft boards to create walls; invert the upper half of the bucket onto the top of the wooden strips as a roof, and apply white waterproof paint to the surface of the wooden strips to enhance durability.
Functional Module Installation:
- Drainage System: Drill a hole at the bottom of the bucket and install a drain pipe (50 millimeters in diameter) connected to an external sewage bucket; drill a hole on the side and install a three-way connector to extend a water pipe to the doorway for use as a sink inlet.
- Toilet and Shower: Align the toilet with the drain outlet and secure it with glass glue; connect the water inlet pipe of the water tank to the three-way connector; use a water pipe to make a simple bathroom heater, and connect the showerhead to the water inlet pipe via a hose.
- Simple Door and Water Storage: Use foam strips to拼接 (assemble) discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a door and install it on the door frame; drill a hole on the side of a plastic bucket and fit it over the roof to form a small water storage device for showering.
Making a Mobile Toilet Using a Water Storage Tank and a Pallet
Main Structure Assembly:
- Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a pallet and place a recycled water storage tank on it; use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the tank to remove the top and create an opening.
- Invert and stack two open tanks and secure the outer frame with self-tapping screws; cut a rectangular opening on the outer frame as a doorway and drill a hole in the interior floor to install a drain elbow (sealed with sealant).
Facility Integration:
- Toilet and Sink: Align the toilet with the drain outlet and secure it with glue; connect the water inlet pipe of the water tank to an external water source; use a stainless steel sink and connect it to the drain pipe with a pipe cap, applying glass glue to the bottom for sealing.
- Faucet and Showerhead: Fix water pipes to the wall with clips and install a faucet; connect the showerhead hose to a bracket, with a spray-type design to save space.
- Door Design: Connect a wooden board to the tank frame with hinges and install a door handle to ensure smooth opening and closing.
Precautions:
- Wear protective gear during cutting operations to avoid splashing of metal debris.
- All joints should be treated with sealant or glue to prevent leakage.
- The mobile toilet should be regularly cleaned to maintain a hygienic environment.
Both methods primarily use waste materials, resulting in low cost and environmental friendliness, suitable for temporary events, construction sites, or outdoor scenarios.
