Mobile Toilet Main Frame
The main frame of a mobile toilet is the core part that supports the overall structure and ensures its robustness and stability. It mainly consists of two mainstream types: steel frame and fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) integrated frame, along with a layered structure of walls and roof.

1. Steel Frame (Mainstream Type)
The steel frame is currently the most commonly used and sturdiest type. Its core material is galvanized steel (hot-dip galvanized square/rectangular tubes), which effectively prevents rust and corrosion through galvanization, extending its service life. Its structural features are as follows:
- Bottom Design: Typically, channel steel or I-beam is used to weld the chassis, which is the most stressed part of the frame, ensuring no deformation during lifting and providing stable support for the entire structure.
- Column Support: Square steel or square tubes are used as vertical supports to ensure the stability of the toilet in the vertical direction, preventing structural tilting due to external forces or long-term use.
- Welding Process: Full-penetration welding is adopted to ensure the firmness of the frame connections, enabling it to withstand multiple liftings and movements, and avoiding structural loosening or breakage due to welding defects.
2. Fiberglass-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Integrated Frame
The FRP integrated frame is commonly found in small single-unit mobile toilets. Its core material is glass fiber-reinforced plastic (commonly known as FRP), which is lightweight and corrosion-resistant but has relatively weaker load-bearing capacity compared to steel frames. Its structural features are as follows:
- Molding Process: It is molded in one piece using a mold, with no obvious welding points, ensuring good overall sealing, a smooth appearance, and resistance to rust, making it suitable for scenarios requiring frequent handling.
- Applicable Scenarios: Due to its limited load-bearing capacity, it is mostly used in small toilets with high requirements for weight and handling frequency, such as temporary events and scenic spots.
3. Layered Structure: Walls and Roof
A complete mobile toilet frame system also includes wall and roof structures, which, together with the main frame, form a stable whole:
- Wall Structure: Based on the steel frame, polyurethane or rock wool is filled as an insulation layer, and the inner and outer surfaces are covered with color-coated steel plates, metal carved plates, or aluminum-plastic plates, meeting the requirements for insulation, waterproofing, and aesthetics.
- Roof Structure: It usually adopts a gable roof design, with a steel frame support inside and asphalt shingles or color-coated steel tiles laid outside to ensure smooth drainage and prevent structural damage caused by water accumulation.
The main frame of a mobile toilet achieves a balance between structural strength, durability, and functionality through material and process optimization, meeting the usage requirements of different scenarios.
