Mobile Toilet Knowledge

Quản trị 22 tháng 9, 2026

Mobile toilets are facilities that can be moved as a whole and provide toilet services to the public. They are suitable for various places and have multiple types, structures, and planning requirements.

Applicable Places: Stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets, etc. When customizing detailed plans for newly built mobile public toilets in cities, common places include squares, both sides of major traffic arteries, scenic spots and historical sites, parks, markets, large parking lots, areas near stadiums (gyms), and other public places.

Types: Environmentally friendly mobile toilets are movable and combinable facilities that employ environmentally friendly technologies to achieve water conservation and resource recycling. There are options such as waterless flushing, foam sealing, and water flushing. Waterless flushing toilets do not require connection to water supply and drainage pipes; water flushing toilets need to be connected to water supply and drainage pipes and also adopt technologies such as rainwater collection and filtration systems and secondary toilet flushing with hand-washing water for water conservation. Some products are equipped with intelligent systems, such as bottom-level PLC data acquisition systems, 40-inch LED toilet stall monitors, and 4G remote monitoring modules, supporting remote control of lighting and flushing systems via mobile apps.

Structure: They are composed of a frame structure welded from steel. The bottom is welded with channel steel or I-beams, and the columns are made of square steel. Wall materials, including color steel plates, metal carved plates, aluminum-plastic plates, and anti-corrosion wood, are installed on the wall foundation. The frame structure meets the requirements for hoisting, facilitating movement and installation.

Planning Considerations: The per-thousand-person building area of street public toilets is 5 - 10 square meters, while that of public toilets in places such as stations, docks, and stadiums (gyms) is 15 - 25 square meters. The recommended ratio of male to female squatting (sitting) positions is 1:1 or 3:2. The dimensions of each squatting position for defecation, standing position for urination, and the width of aisles inside the toilet are specified. Public toilets should have at least one hand-washing basin in both the male and female sections. The number of hand-washing basins can be increased as appropriate when there are more than 10 squatting (sitting) positions. Each squatting position should be equipped with a sturdy and corrosion-resistant hook for hanging items. Clear Chinese signs must be set at the entrances and exits. The placement location of mobile toilets should be obvious, easy to find, and convenient for feces to be discharged into the urban drainage system.
