Knowledge about Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public, suitable for various fixed or temporary locations.

Diverse Types

  • Flush Type: Its structure is similar to that of a traditional toilet. It relies on a water tank or an external water source and uses a water pump for flushing. It is suitable for places with sufficient water supply and high hygiene requirements, such as stations and docks.
  • Packing Type: It uses plastic bags to collect excrement and seals them automatically. It is commonly used in scenic spots or transportation hubs to reduce the spread of odors.
  • Waterless Flush Type: It employs microbial degradation or incineration technology to treat excrement without the need for a water source. It is suitable for remote construction sites with water shortages or no sewage pipe networks.
  • Foam Sealing Type: It wraps waste with foam, saving water and effectively suppressing odors. It is suitable for places with high environmental requirements.

Materials and Craftsmanship

  • Shell Material: The mainstream choice is high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant, and easy to clean. Fiberglass has high strength but is relatively heavy. Stainless steel is mostly used in high-end or coastal areas with high salt spray.
  • Inner Wall and Floor: They need to be non-slip, stain-resistant, and easy to clean. Common materials include non-slip aluminum plates, engineering plastics, and FRP floors, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.
  • Structural Design: The internal space is compact (2-3 square meters). Toilets, washbasins, and other facilities are reasonably arranged to ensure structural stability and smooth drainage. Excellent manufacturers adopt a modular design for easy transportation and assembly. The joints are sealed to prevent leakage and odors.

Sewage Disposal and Environmental Protection

  • Flush Type: It needs to be equipped with a sewage tank, and the volume determines the frequency of emptying.
  • Waterless Flush Type: It relies on biodegradation bacteria or incineration devices, with high requirements for temperature control and safety.
  • Treatment Methods: Some products use microbial degradation technology to convert fecal waste into fertilizer for recycling. Others achieve water conservation through rainwater collection and secondary toilet flushing with hand-washing water.

Advantages and Applications

  • High Mobility: It is not restricted by the environment or demand and can be relocated flexibly.
  • Diverse Treatment Methods: It can adapt to different scenario requirements.
  • Small Footprint: It saves land resources.
  • Low Price: It is easy to install and has a lower cost than traditional public toilets.
  • Wide Application Scenarios: It includes stations, docks, tourist attractions, large construction sites, temporary events (such as concerts and sports events), and arid and water-scarce areas.
