Mobile Toilet Internal Maintenance

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

The internal maintenance of mobile toilets should be systematically carried out from four aspects: daily cleaning and disinfection, facility function inspection, replenishment of sanitary supplies and consumables, and maintenance of the water supply and drainage system.

1. Daily Cleaning and Disinfection
Use neutral detergents for cleaning to avoid corrosion of facility surfaces by strong acids or alkalis. Focus on cleaning high-frequency contact areas such as toilets, sinks, floors, and door handles, and disinfect them simultaneously after cleaning. Choose environmentally friendly disinfectants, dilute them according to the instructions, and spray or wipe them. After disinfection, maintain ventilation for at least 30 minutes to reduce the risk of chemical residues. The cleaning frequency should be adjusted according to the intensity of use. For places with high foot traffic (such as scenic spots and stations), it is recommended to clean 2-3 times a day, while for ordinary places, once a day is sufficient.

2. Facility Function Inspection
Check hardware functions simultaneously during each cleaning:

  • Mechanical Components: Test whether door locks and windows open and close smoothly to avoid usage obstacles caused by rust or deformation.
  • Electrical System: Check whether lighting fixtures and exhaust fans can start normally, ensuring that the illumination in the toilet is not less than 100 lux and the air circulation rate reaches more than 0.1 m/s.
  • Smart Devices: If equipped with devices such as sensor flushing and automatic air fresheners, verify their response sensitivity to avoid functional failures due to sensor malfunctions.

3. Replenishment of Sanitary Supplies and Consumables
Establish a regular inspection mechanism to ensure that the stock of consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels is not less than 20% of the total capacity. Garbage bins should be cleaned promptly when they reach 80% capacity to prevent odor diffusion. For waterless mobile toilets, replace biological degradation bacteria every 2-3 weeks to maintain the efficiency of organic matter decomposition. For toilets using biological degradation technology, add special degradation agents regularly according to the product instructions to avoid blockages caused by bacterial imbalance.

4. Maintenance of the Water Supply and Drainage System

  • Water Tank Management: Clean the inner walls of the water tank every quarter to remove algae and sediment and prevent water pollution.
  • Pipeline Inspection: Check monthly for leaks at water pipe connections and the sealing of faucets and flush valves to avoid water waste.
  • Sewage Disposal: Determine the cleaning cycle of the septic tank according to the usage volume. For toilets with an average daily usage of more than 50 people, it is recommended to clean them every 6 weeks. The cleaning should be carried out by professionals to prevent safety hazards caused by methane accumulation. Sewage pipes should be flushed with a high-pressure water gun every 3 months to avoid blockages caused by urine scale buildup.
