How to Flush Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 23 tháng 9, 2026

The flushing methods for mobile toilets vary depending on their types, as detailed below:

Water-flushing and waterless suction-flushing are two common types. Water-flushing mobile toilets are equipped with a water tank, usually placed on top of the toilet bowl, which stores clean water for flushing. When flushing is needed, a specific flushing device releases water from the tank to clean the inside of the toilet bowl, and the used wastewater flows into a wastewater tank at the bottom. In contrast, waterless suction-flushing mobile toilets lack a flushing device, and excreta directly enter a wastewater pool at the bottom. These types of mobile toilets require regular use of suction equipment to extract wastewater from the pool to ensure normal operation.

Recirculating water perforation-type mobile toilets employ more advanced treatment technologies. They are equipped with intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment devices, combined with biological bacteria to accelerate the decomposition of fecal wastewater. During this process, organic matter in the fecal wastewater is decomposed by the biological bacteria. The treated water is then filtered through a filtration device to remove impurities and harmful substances, and this treated water is recirculated for flushing, achieving water reuse that is both environmentally friendly and water-saving.

Dry-packaging mobile toilets do not require flushing. They lack a flushing device and instead use recyclable plastic bags to collect excreta. After each use, the system automatically replaces the plastic bag with a new one, and the plastic bags containing excreta are collected for disposal. This design avoids the flushing process, reduces water consumption, and facilitates centralized disposal of excreta.

The specific flushing method to be adopted depends on the design of the mobile toilet and the on-site water supply conditions. If the on-site water supply is sufficient and there are high hygiene requirements, water-flushing may be a better choice; if the water supply is limited or more environmentally friendly and energy-saving options are needed, recirculating water perforation-type or dry-packaging mobile toilets are more suitable.
