Drawing Method for Mobile Toilet Floor Plans
Quản trị 10 tháng 10, 2026
The drawing of mobile toilet floor plans can refer to the methods for ordinary toilet floor plans, adjusting the layout in accordance with accessibility design standards. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Basic Graphic Drawing (Using CAD as an Example)
Main Structure of the Urinal
- Use the rectangle command to draw the main body of the urinal, with recommended dimensions of 240mm (width) × 425mm (length) as the basic outline.
- Use the offset command to indent inward by 20mm, and then use the fillet command to set fillets with radii of 100mm and 120mm, forming the inner trough of the urinal.
- Draw a circle with a radius of 16mm inside the rounded rectangle to represent the drain, and move it to an appropriate position (such as near the rear end).
Supplementary Auxiliary Structures
- Draw a rectangle with dimensions of 75mm (width) × 240mm (length) as the side panels of the urinal, and refine the edges using the offset and line commands.
- Use the mirror command to complete the symmetrical part, ensuring graphic balance.
II. Integration of Accessibility Facilities into the Design
Toilet Area
- Emergency Call Button: Install a button at a height of 400mm-500mm on the wall beside the toilet for emergency assistance.
- Safety Grab Bars: The vertical grab bar should be at a height of 251mm-351mm from the upper edge of the toilet, with a length of no less than 700mm; the horizontal grab bar can be installed on the side wall at a height of 650mm-750mm from the ground.
Urinal Area
- Height Control: The lower opening of the accessible urinal should be at a height of ≤40mm from the ground, facilitating access for wheelchair users.
- Grab Bar Installation: Install vertical grab bars with a height of 1.2m and a diameter of 32mm-40mm at a distance of 250mm from the walls on both sides, ensuring a comfortable grip.
Other Facilities
- Sink and Mirror: The bottom end of the reflective surface of the mirror above the sink should be at a height of ≤1.0m from the ground to avoid reflective interference.
- Low-Level Hanging Items: The height of coat hooks, towel racks, etc., from the ground should comply with accessibility standards (e.g., coat hooks should be at a height of 1.2m-1.4m from the ground).
III. Key Considerations
Drainage and Relocation
- If toilet relocation is required, choose a plan based on the drainage method: for same-floor drainage, a toilet shifter can be used (≤200mm for minor adjustments or 200-500mm for long-distance relocation); for inter-floor drainage, the floor slab needs to be raised (suitable for ultra-long distances of ≥1m).
Waterproofing Treatment
- Apply waterproof coating at least twice. For sunken toilets, construction should be carried out before backfilling and before tiling to ensure no leakage.
Spatial Dimensions
- The net area of an accessible toilet should be ≥4.0㎡, and the door width should be ≥900mm to facilitate wheelchair turning.
By following the above steps, a mobile toilet floor plan that combines functionality and compliance can be drawn, and the dimensions and facility layout should be adjusted according to actual needs.
