Mobile Toilet Durability
Mobile toilets are not all non-durable; their service life varies greatly depending on multiple factors, ranging from 3 years to over 20 years.

Material and craftsmanship are the core factors determining durability. Low-end products often adopt simple fiberglass structures. Under long-term outdoor exposure to sunlight and rain, the material is prone to aging, and issues such as cracking and leakage may occur after about 3 years. Mainstream high-end products, on the other hand, use national standard hot-dip galvanized steel frames paired with high-quality anti-corrosion wall panels. After hot-dip galvanizing treatment, the steel's anti-corrosion performance is significantly enhanced, allowing it to maintain structural strength for over 5 years in humid environments. The overall service life can reach 10 to 15 years, or even exceed 20 years. Additionally, stainless steel or composite materials, due to their superior corrosion resistance and strength, are often used in high-end customizations or key parts, further extending the service life.
Usage environment and intensity directly affect the product's lifespan. In extreme temperature environments (such as -30℃ to 50℃) or high-humidity, highly corrosive environments, ordinary-material mobile toilets are prone to accelerated aging, while products made of specially anti-corrosion-treated steel or composite materials can maintain stable performance. Meanwhile, usage intensity (such as foot traffic and cleaning frequency) also impacts the lifespan; high-frequency usage scenarios require more durable materials and structures.
Regular maintenance is key to extending the lifespan. Periodic cleaning, checking structural stability, and promptly repairing minor damages (such as wall panel cracks and loose hardware) can prevent problems from escalating. For example, avoid using corrosive chemicals during cleaning to prevent damage to the surface anti-corrosion layer; in winter, drain the water from the tank and pipes to prevent freezing and cracking. Proper maintenance can extend the service life of mobile toilets by 3 to 5 years, or even reach 15 years or longer under normal usage.
In conclusion, the durability of mobile toilets should be comprehensively evaluated based on material, craftsmanship, environment, and maintenance. Choosing products that meet specific needs and maintaining them scientifically can significantly enhance their service life.
