Drainage Methods for Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 02 tháng 10, 2026

The drainage methods for mobile toilets mainly include conventional water-flushing, vacuum sewage systems, water-storage sewage systems, recirculating water perforation, dry-packaging types, and water-flushing and waterless-flushing suction types.

Conventional Water-Flushing: This is a relatively common drainage method that requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes. During use, manual operation or automatic sensing devices are used to achieve sewage discharge, with the sewage being directly discharged to a septic tank or municipal sewer network. This drainage method is similar to that of ordinary household toilets, offering a good user experience. However, it requires a well-established water pipe infrastructure and is suitable for locations with fixed water supply and drainage pipe access, such as areas near large event venues with municipal sewer network support.

Vacuum Sewage Systems: These systems operate using negative pressure principles. A vacuum pump generates negative pressure to rapidly suck sewage and waste into a collection container. This method is highly efficient and uses relatively little water, effectively conserving water resources. However, the equipment and maintenance costs are relatively high, making it generally suitable for locations with water restrictions and high hygiene requirements, such as mobile toilets in high-end tourist attractions.

Water-Storage Sewage Systems: Waste is flushed into a storage tank using water. When the storage tank is full, it needs to be cleaned and replaced. This method is suitable for locations with an adequate water supply and where cleaning is convenient, such as construction sites with temporary water supply and regular storage tank cleaning arrangements.

Recirculating Water Perforation: Equipped with intermittent aerobic and anaerobic fecal sewage treatment devices, biological bacteria are added to accelerate the fermentation and decomposition of feces. The treated water can be recirculated for toilet flushing, achieving water resource recycling. This method is environmentally friendly and energy-efficient, but the equipment is relatively complex and requires high maintenance and management standards, making it suitable for locations with high environmental requirements and some technical maintenance capabilities.

Dry-Packaging Types: These mobile toilets have no flushing devices, and feces are collected in recyclable plastic bags. After use, the system automatically replaces the plastic bag and transports the bag containing feces to a disposal site. They do not require water and are suitable for water-scarce areas or temporary locations with relatively low hygiene requirements.

Water-Flushing and Waterless-Flushing Suction Types: Water-flushing types are equipped with water tanks and sewage tanks, while waterless-flushing types directly receive excreta. Due to the relatively small capacity of the sewage tanks, timely pumping is required to ensure normal use.
