Mobile Toilet Disposal Methods

Quản trị 19 tháng 10, 2026

There are four main sewage disposal methods for mobile toilets: direct discharge, packing, microbial degradation, and vacuum collection. Here are the specific introductions:

The direct discharge method is suitable for places with municipal sewage pipelines and relatively close distances, such as city streets and parks. Its principle is that sewage is directly connected to the municipal sewage pipeline through pipes and is centrally treated by the urban sewage treatment system. This disposal method has low construction and operation costs and is simple to operate. It only requires connecting the sewage pipeline of the mobile toilet to the municipal sewage pipeline. However, it also has an obvious drawback, which is its dependence on the sewage pipeline. Once the pipeline is blocked or poorly maintained, it will affect the normal use of the mobile toilet.

The packing method is suitable for areas with a large flow of people but where frequent cleaning is inconvenient, such as large-scale event venues. Its principle is that feces are compressed into blocks and stored in the toilet tank, while sewage is discharged through drainage pipes. This method can effectively reduce odors because feces are promptly packed and processed and are not exposed to the air for a long time. At the same time, the packed feces are easy to transport and process, reducing the difficulty of subsequent treatment. However, the equipment cost is relatively high, and packing materials need to be regularly replenished, increasing operating costs.

The microbial degradation method is suitable for places where water sources are not easily accessible and have high environmental protection requirements, such as scenic spots and野外作业场地 (field operation sites). It uses microbial communities to decompose feces into water, carbon dioxide, and a small amount of residue, achieving an environmentally friendly and pollution-free disposal effect. Moreover, maintenance is simple, and only requires the regular addition of microbial communities. However, the disposal effect is greatly affected by temperature. In low-temperature environments, the activity of microorganisms will decrease, affecting the disposal efficiency. In addition, microorganisms need a certain amount of time to adapt to the environment, and newly put-into-use mobile toilets may take some time to achieve the best disposal effect.

The vacuum collection method is suitable for places with a high density of people and high hygiene requirements, such as airports and high-speed rail stations. It quickly collects sewage and feces into storage tanks through a vacuum pump. The sewage discharge is rapid, which can effectively prevent odor overflow and keep the toilet environment clean and hygienic. However, the equipment cost is high, and the operating energy consumption is large, requiring a relatively large amount of electricity to maintain the operation of the vacuum pump. At the same time, the maintenance technical requirements are high, and professional personnel are needed for regular maintenance and overhaul.
