Mobile Toilet Displacement Distance

Quản trị 20 tháng 9, 2026

The displacement distance limits and construction points for mobile toilets (toilets) are as follows:

  1. General Displacement Limits
General displacement usually refers to the operation of directly adjusting the position of the toilet's drainage outlet. It is recommended that the maximum displacement distance does not exceed 15 centimeters. If this value is exceeded, the complexity of construction significantly increases, and issues such as poor drainage and blockages are prone to occur. This type of displacement is mostly suitable for minor local space adjustments and does not require additional tools or complex pipe modifications.

  2. Short-Distance Displacement Solutions
When the displacement requirement is between 5 and 10 centimeters, a flat PVC displacement device can be used. This type of displacement device is thin, reducing its impact on the drainage slope while maintaining drainage efficiency. It is easy to install and has a low cost, making it suitable for small-scale adjustments.

  3. Long-Distance Displacement Tools and Limits
Displacement devices ranging from 8 centimeters to 60-70 centimeters are available on the market, but it is recommended that the actual displacement distance does not exceed 60 centimeters. If the displacement is too long, the drainage pipe needs to maintain a sufficient slope to ensure water flow speed; otherwise, blockages or odors may occur. In addition, long-distance displacement may affect the ceiling below, so it is necessary to consult with the property management or neighbors in advance.

  4. Construction Specifications for General Displacement

    • Displacement within 50mm: A displacement flange (a fitting that connects the drainage pipe to the toilet) can be used directly without additional slope adjustments.
    • Displacement between 50mm and 150mm: A pipe slope must be set, with a slope of 2% required for every 10mm of displacement (for example, when displacing 100mm, the pipe needs to be tilted by 2 centimeters). Insufficient slope will result in slow drainage, and long-term use can lead to the accumulation of dirt.
    • Displacement exceeding 150mm: It is recommended to re-lay the sewer pipe and extend the drainage outlet to a suitable position. This type of modification involves the ceiling below and requires communication with and permission from the relevant parties. The construction difficulty and cost are relatively high.

Summary: The displacement distance of a mobile toilet should be selected based on actual needs. For short distances, prioritize using flat displacement devices or displacement flanges; for long distances, strictly follow slope specifications or modify the pipes. Before construction, assess the spatial conditions, drainage system, and neighbor relations to avoid problems during later use.
