How Mobile Toilets Discharge Waste

Quản trị 13 tháng 10, 2026

There are various discharge methods for mobile toilets, with the following being the most common:

  1. Conventional Water-Flush Type: This is the most widespread discharge method. It requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes, and achieves waste discharge either manually or through automatic sensing. After use, pressing the flush button or when the automatic sensor detects that the person has left, water flushes away the waste, which is then discharged into a septic tank or municipal sewer network. This discharge method is suitable for various water-available environments, such as some public places and scenic spots in cities. It has relatively low construction costs, mature technology, and is convenient to use, similar to the water-flush method of traditional fixed toilets.
  2. Vacuum Sewage Discharge System: This system uses negative pressure principles for waste discharge. A vacuum pump generates negative pressure to suck sewage and waste into a collection container. When the sewage in the public toilet reaches a preset water level, the vacuum pump automatically starts and quickly sucks the sewage and waste into the collection container. This discharge method is extremely efficient and uses very little water, effectively preventing sewage leakage and odor diffusion, and keeping the public toilet clean and hygienic. In places with high environmental requirements and water shortages, such as high-end hotels and large event venues, the vacuum sewage discharge system has significant advantages.
  3. Water-Storage Sewage Discharge System: It also discharges waste into a storage tank through a water-flush method. When the storage tank is full, it needs to be cleaned and replaced. This discharge method is suitable for places with sufficient water supply and easy cleaning, such as some temporarily constructed construction site toilets, which have an adequate water supply and can regularly arrange personnel to clean the storage tank.
  4. Packaging Type: Its principle is similar to automatically putting a garbage bag around feces. After use, the equipment automatically packages and seals the excreta to prevent odor emission and waste leakage, and then processes it uniformly later. This discharge method is suitable for places without a water source or where it is inconvenient to discharge sewage, such as wild camping sites and remote mountainous areas.
  5. Foam Sealing Type: When in use, a layer of foam is squeezed into the toilet bowl. This layer of foam can both prevent odors and save water. It generates rich foam through a special foaming device, which covers the inner surface of the toilet bowl, preventing odor emission, and at the same time uses a small amount of water to flush the waste into a collection device.
  6. Microbial Degradation Type: This discharge method is relatively environmentally friendly. It uses microorganisms to convert organic matter in sewage into harmless substances for discharge, effectively reducing sewage pollution to the environment. It is suitable for places with high environmental protection requirements, such as ecological scenic spots and nature reserves.
