Mobile Toilet Degradation

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

Mobile toilet degradation primarily employs microbial degradation technology, converting excreta into harmless substances through specific devices and bacterial strains, achieving environmental protection, energy conservation, and resource recycling.

Core Mechanism of Microbial Degradation Mobile Toilets

This type of toilet utilizes fermentation degradation tanks equipped with microbial strains and carriers, combined with mechanical transmission devices and PLC constant temperature and humidity control systems, to automate the processing of excreta. The specific process is as follows:

  1. Mixing and Stirring: The mechanical transmission device drives the stirrer to rotate forward and backward at intervals, thoroughly mixing urine and feces with the bacterial strain carrier to ensure uniform contact between microorganisms and excreta.
  2. Biodegradation: Microbial strains (such as aerobic bacteria and Thomas bacteria) decompose organic matter through metabolic processes, with the final products being carbon dioxide, water, and compliant gases (such as nitrogen), which are expelled through exhaust pipes and fans.
  3. Environmental Control: The bottom exterior of the degradation tank is equipped with an approximately 800W heating device to maintain an optimal temperature (unaffected by ambient temperature), accelerating microbial activity; the PLC system automatically adjusts temperature and humidity based on environmental parameters to ensure degradation efficiency.

Technical Characteristics of Ecological Public Toilets

Ecological public toilets are based on solid-liquid separation technology, combined with microbial decomposition to achieve harmless treatment:

  1. Initial Startup: Requires a one-time injection of 70-80 kilograms of water to activate the bacterial community; subsequent operation does not require water flushing, relying on microbial metabolism to maintain activity.
  2. Resource Conversion: Feces are decomposed into carbon dioxide, water, and organic fertilizer, which can be directly used for agriculture or greening, achieving resource recycling.
  3. Smart Management: Utilizes 5G and IoT technologies to monitor bacterial community status, temperature, humidity, and other parameters in real-time through a remote monitoring system, optimizing operational efficiency.

Optimized Design of Environmentally Friendly Ecological Toilets

This type of toilet combines biological bacterial strain degradation technology with high-temperature treatment processes to enhance degradation speed and safety:

  1. Efficient Bacterial Strains: Uses efficient bacterial strains such as aerobic bacteria and Thomas bacteria to shorten the mineralization time of fecal matter and reduce residue volume.
  2. High-Temperature Sterilization: The biological chamber is heated to 60-70°C to accelerate decomposition and kill pathogenic microorganisms, ensuring safe and harmless emissions.
  3. Biological Deodorization: Eliminates malodorous substances such as putrescine, cadaverine, and hydrogen sulfide through biological conversion technology, improving the usage environment.

Operational Costs and Applicability

Mobile toilets with microbial degradation consume approximately 3-5 kilowatt-hours of electricity per day (depending on usage frequency and region), with bacterial strain replacement cycles of 3-6 months, costing 300 yuan per toilet seat for domestic strains and 500 yuan per toilet seat for imported strains. Their advantages include no need for water flushing, no need for waste removal, and no pollution, making them suitable for areas with water scarcity, lack of electrical infrastructure, or high environmental protection requirements, such as scenic spots, disaster areas, and remote rural areas.
