Mobile Toilet Construction
Quản trị 09 tháng 10, 2026
There are various construction methods for mobile toilets, depending on the type of toilet and design requirements. The following introduces the key points of mobile toilet construction from the perspectives of different construction cases and toilet component structures:

I. Construction of a Self-Made Mobile Restroom
- Basic Frame Construction: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the拖板 (trailer plate) to ensure mobility. The trailer plate, as the load-bearing main body, should be made of sturdy and durable materials (such as metal or high-strength plastic).
- Water Storage Tank Modification: Use water storage tanks recovered from garbage stations. Cut along the marked lines on the top with an angle grinder to form open-top tanks. Stack two open-top water storage tanks, and fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws to form a closed space.
- Functional Module Installation:
- Door Cutting: Cut a rectangular opening on the side of the tank as the entrance, ensuring smooth edges to avoid scratches.
- Water Supply and Drainage System: Drill a hole in the floor inside the tank, insert an elbow, connect to a water pipe, and seal it; install a toilet, connect the water inlet pipe, and set up a drainage pipe below; fix the water pipe with wall clips, and install a faucet and a washbasin made of a stainless steel sink.
- Shower Facilities: Connect the shower hose and install a showerhead, ensuring the water circuit is sealed.
- Detail Refinement: Install a toilet seat, make a door body with wooden boards and water pipes (such as a lotus leaf structure), and install a door handle to enhance usability.
II. Installation of Prefabricated Mobile Toilets
- Tool Preparation: An electric drill, a 4.2-millimeter drill bit, and a rivet gun are core tools for fixing structural components.
- Assembly Steps:
- Inner Corner Installation: Prioritize fixing the inner corner pieces to ensure frame stability.
- Panel Assembly: Insert the panels into the slots and align them. Drill holes at the joints, insert rivets, and fix them with a rivet gun to form a closed wall.
- Quality Inspection: After assembly, check the tightness of the rivets and the uniformity of the panel gaps to avoid water leakage or structural looseness.
III. Structure and Classification of Mobile Toilets
- Component Structure: Includes a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, mobile device, etc. Each module needs to be designed collaboratively to meet functional requirements.
- Structural Form Classification:
- Single-Unit Structure: An independent unit suitable for small-scale scenarios.
- Composite Structure: Multiple modules combined to expand functions (such as adding a management room).
- Mobility Classification:
- Lifting/Handling Type: Relies on lifting equipment or manual handling, suitable for short-term use.
- Powered/Trailer Type: Equipped with an engine or a trailer device, capable of autonomous movement or being towed by a vehicle.
- Sewage Treatment Classification:
- Flush Type: Requires connection to a water source, with sewage discharged into a storage tank or municipal sewer network.
- Waterless Suction Type: Sucks feces through a vacuum pump, suitable for water-scarce areas.
- Recirculating Flush Type: Purifies sewage for recycling, saving water resources.
- Dry Packing Type: Uses biodegradable bags to collect feces, requiring no water flushing, and is highly environmentally friendly.
