Mobile Toilet Cleaning Standards
Mobile toilet cleaning standards cover aspects such as cleaning frequency, tools and supplies, procedures, and record-keeping. Details are as follows:

Cleaning Frequency: Adjust flexibly based on usage volume. The common practice is to clean once before and once after peak hours during the day, and conduct a comprehensive cleaning at night or after the event. In Fuzhou, it is generally recommended to perform a comprehensive cleaning at least once a day for single mobile toilets. During hot summer weather, due to rapid bacterial growth and increased odor production, cleaning frequency should be increased to ensure toilet hygiene.
Cleaning Tools and Supplies: These should be uniformly configured, including buckets, rags, brushes, mops, high-pressure cleaning equipment, neutral detergents, disinfectants, deodorizers, disposable gloves, and masks. These tools and supplies should not be mixed to avoid cross-contamination, and their placement should be prominent and easily accessible for cleaning staff to quickly find and use.
Cleaning Procedures:
- Preparation: Prepare necessary cleaning tools and supplies. Dilute all detergents according to instructions and avoid using strong acid or alkaline products to prevent damage to toilet facilities. Also, prepare protective gear such as rubber gloves and masks to protect the health of cleaning staff.
- Internal Cleaning: Start from the top and work downwards. First, clean the walls and ceiling, paying attention to corners and vents; then clean the sink, removing water stains and dirt from the countertop, cleaning the faucet and drain, and wiping the mirror with glass cleaner; flush the toilet bowl with water first, then soak it with a specialized cleaner for five to ten minutes, scrub the inner wall thoroughly with a toilet brush, paying special attention to the outlet and edges, and finally flush it clean with water; sweep larger debris from the floor first, then mop it with a mop soaked in detergent, and finally mop it clean with water.
- External Cleaning: This includes the surface of the toilet box and the surrounding environment. Wipe the outer wall of the toilet box with a damp rag to remove dust and stains. For stubborn stains, use a neutral detergent to assist in cleaning; clean the surrounding floor to maintain a tidy environment, check if the drainage ditch is unobstructed, and promptly clear any blockages.
- Disinfection Treatment: Use diluted disinfectant to wipe frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, flush buttons, and sinks. The disinfectant should act for the time specified in the product instructions, then wipe it clean with water. Regularly disinfect the air using a safe air disinfectant.
- Replenishment of Supplies: After cleaning, promptly replenish consumables such as toilet paper and hand soap. Check if the tissue box and soap dispenser are intact and replace damaged parts in a timely manner.
Cleaning Records: After each cleaning, make a simple record, including the station where it was completed, the cleaning staff, and usage volume. This facilitates subsequent scheduling and tracking to ensure that cleaning work is carried out in an orderly manner.
