Comprehensive Guide to Mobile Toilet Classification
Quản trị 07 tháng 10, 2026
Mobile toilets can be classified based on structural form, mobility method, sewage treatment approach, material, usage scenario, and configuration, as detailed below:

By Structural Form:
- Monolithic Structure: Exists as an independent unit, occupying a small area and suitable for scattered placement, such as monolithic mobile toilets.
- Composite Structure: Includes combined and trailer-mounted types. Combined types are formed by splicing multiple units to create a 'toilet cluster' with large capacity and separate male and female toilet compartments. Trailer-mounted types are equipped with wheel and axle assemblies and can be towed by vehicles, suitable for touring events.
By Mobility Method:
- Hoisting and Handling Type: Requires lifting by cranes and is suitable for fixed locations like construction sites.
- Powered and Trailer Type: Designed with wheels for direct towing, suitable for large-scale events like music festivals.
By Sewage Treatment Approach:
- Water-flush and Waterless Suction Types: Water-flush types require connection to water supply and drainage networks, similar to traditional public toilets. Waterless suction types, such as waterless packaging types, seal and treat excreta, suitable for water-scarce scenarios like desert camping.
- Recirculating Water-flush Type: Achieves water reuse through filtration and purification, reducing water consumption.
- Foam Sealing Type: Uses foam to cover excreta to block odors, saving water and being environmentally friendly, commonly found in scenic spots.
- Microbial Degradation Type: Decomposes excreta into fertilizer through microorganisms, suitable for ecological parks. Waterless microbial degradation types combine chemical agents to further conserve water.
By Material:
- Plastic Toilets: Lightweight and low-cost, suitable for temporary use at construction sites.
- Color-steel Toilets: Feature thermal and acoustic insulation, with customizable appearances, commonly found in parks and streets.
- Fiberglass Toilets: Molded as a whole, highly impact-resistant, widely used in disaster relief and emergency scenarios, also lightweight, durable, and diverse in design.
- Tent-style Toilets: Easy to assemble and disassemble, similar to tent structures, suitable for temporary events.
By Usage Scenario and Configuration:
- Basic Monolithic Type: Meets the needs of temporary events or small construction sites, compact in size, equipped with basic flushing systems, sinks, and ventilation facilities.
- Standard Monolithic Type: Spacious with separate compartments, some models equipped with aromatherapy and deodorization devices, suitable for medium-sized events like corporate annual meetings.
- Environmentally Friendly Monolithic Type: Adopts water recycling or microbial treatment technologies, some equipped with solar power, suitable for scenic spots with high environmental requirements.
- Luxury Monolithic Type: Exquisitely decorated inside, equipped with non-slip floors, mirrors, comfortable seating, and heating devices, serving high-end events or business receptions.
- Special Function Monolithic Type: Includes barrier-free toilets (equipped with handrails and lifting facilities) and mother-and-baby toilets (with baby care tables and privacy curtains), used in large public places or events for special groups.
