Mobile Toilet Classification

Quản trị 20 tháng 9, 2026

Mobile toilets can be classified from five dimensions: structural form, material, mobility method, sewage treatment method, and functional application scenarios, as detailed below:

Structural Form: Mobile toilets are divided into two categories: single-unit and composite structures. Single-unit mobile toilets are typically independent units, small in size and flexible to install, suitable for temporary locations with limited space. Composite-structure mobile toilets are composed of multiple functional modules, offering strong scalability to meet the needs of multiple users simultaneously, commonly found in large events or long-term deployment scenarios.

Material: Mobile toilets cover four types: plastic, color-steel, fiberglass, and tent-style. Plastic toilets are characterized by their lightweight and low cost, often used in short-term projects like construction sites. Color-steel toilets offer thermal and acoustic insulation with an aesthetically pleasing appearance, commonly seen in public areas such as parks and streets. Fiberglass toilets are manufactured using an integrated molding process, providing strong impact resistance, suitable for extreme environments like disaster relief operations. Tent-style toilets excel in rapid assembly and disassembly, ideal for mobile events like temporary exhibitions and music festivals.

Mobility Method: Mobile toilets are categorized into lifting and transporting types and powered towing types. Lifting and transporting types rely on lifting equipment for overall movement, often used at fixed locations such as construction sites and camps. Powered towing types are equipped with a power system or can be connected to a towing vehicle, offering convenient mobility, suitable for scenarios requiring frequent relocation like music festivals and sports events.

Sewage Treatment Method: Mobile toilets include water-flush and non-water-flush suction types, circulating water-flush types, waterless packing types, traditional water-flush types, foam-sealing types, and microbial degradation types. Waterless packing types collect excreta in sealed bags, requiring no water source, suitable for water-scarce environments like desert camping. Traditional water-flush types need to be connected to sewage pipes, relying on an adequate water supply, commonly used in scenic spots and city parks. Foam-sealing types use foam to cover and reduce odors, conserving water and being environmentally friendly. Microbial degradation types convert excreta into fertilizer through biotechnology, commonly found in ecological parks and farms.

Function and Application Scenarios: Mobile toilets are divided into standard types, water-flush types, eco-friendly types, and smart types. Standard mobile toilets have a simple structure with basic facilities, suitable for construction sites and short-term exhibitions. Water-flush types add a water-flush system to improve hygiene standards, meeting the high demands of sports events and music festivals. Eco-friendly types adopt water-saving technologies or renewable energy sources, aligning with the environmental protection needs of ecological tourism areas and parks. Smart types integrate automatic sensing, intelligent control, and energy-saving technologies, serving high-end commercial districts, transportation hubs, and hospitals.
