Mobile Shared Toilet

Quản trị 20 tháng 9, 2026

Currently, there is no very detailed and unified definition or mature model for mobile shared toilets, but they can be interpreted and analyzed to some extent based on the concepts of mobile toilets and sharing.

Basic Information on Mobile Toilets

A mobile toilet (Portable toilet) is a facility that can be moved as a whole and is set up at locations with fixed or temporary needs to provide toilet services for the public and customers. It generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device.

Classification of Mobile Toilets

  • By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure ones are relatively simple and independent, while composite-structure ones may have more advantages in functional integration or space utilization.
  • By moving method: There are lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, which may require large lifting equipment or manual handling to change positions; and powered and towed-type mobile toilets. The powered type can provide its own moving power, and the towed type can be connected to a vehicle for movement.
  • By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and non-water-flush suction-type mobile toilets. The water-flush type is similar to traditional toilets, using water for flushing, while the non-water-flush suction type treats feces through suction. The circulating water-flush type mobile toilet can recycle the flushing water to save water resources; the dry-packing type mobile toilet dry-packs the feces for easy subsequent cleaning.

Characteristics of Mobile Toilets

They can be conveniently transported to any place where toilets need to be set up and can be used repeatedly. They have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. For example, at large outdoor event sites, construction sites, tourist attractions, and other temporary or fixed demand locations, mobile toilets can be quickly set up and put into use to meet people's toilet needs.

About 'Shared Mobile Toilets'

Currently, there is a concept of 'a new experience of shared mobile toilet restrooms', but no more detailed information about mobile shared toilets has been found. It is speculated that it may be based on mobile toilets, combined with the sharing economy model, and through certain technological means and management methods, to achieve the shared use of mobile toilet resources, improve utilization efficiency and coverage. However, specific operational models, technological implementations, and other aspects still need further exploration and improvement.
