Mobile Restrooms in Xinjiang

Quản trị 09 tháng 10, 2026

Xinjiang offers a diverse range of mobile restrooms, and the construction of tourist restrooms continues to intensify with improving quality.

I. Types of Mobile Restrooms
The mobile restrooms in Xinjiang are uniquely designed and practical. For instance, there are ultra-cool corrugated mobile restrooms customized for campsites, theme parks, and other venues. Their walls are made of galvanized corrugated sheets, which are not only sturdy and durable but also hand-painted, giving them an artistic appearance that blends well with the surrounding environment, providing tourists with a unique restroom experience. Additionally, there are Xinjiang painted mobile restrooms, which also feature galvanized corrugated sheet exteriors. The painted patterns are personalized according to the client's event theme. They have spacious hand-washing areas in the middle, equipped with marble countertops, making them both aesthetically pleasing and practical, enhancing the overall experience for tourists.

II. Construction of Tourist Restrooms
Xinjiang has made significant progress in the construction of tourist restrooms. As of now, the total number of tourist restrooms across the region has reached 4,335. This year, Xinjiang plans to build an additional 188 fixed restrooms and 47 mobile restrooms to further meet tourists' restroom needs and improve the quality of tourism services.

III. Measures to Improve the Quality of Tourist Restrooms
To enhance the quality of tourist restrooms, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Department of Culture and Tourism has issued the "Three-Year Action Plan for Improving the Quality of Tourist Restrooms in Xinjiang (2026-2028)", which outlines medium- and long-term construction and improvement goals and allocates special subsidy funds. Various regions are conducting quality assessments in accordance with national standards, classifying restrooms into Category I and Category II, to promote higher-quality development of tourist restrooms. Since 2023, a total of 36 Category I restrooms have been assessed across the region, with plans to assess an additional 15 in 2026. This will help elevate the overall quality of tourist restrooms in Xinjiang, providing tourists with a more comfortable and convenient restroom environment.
