Mobile Restroom
A mobile restroom, also known as a portable toilet, is a facility that can be moved as a whole to provide public restroom services.

I. Basic Components A mobile restroom generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor, sanitary ware, walls, washing facilities, water tank, roof, and moving device, among other parts. These components work together to ensure the basic functions of the restroom are realized, such as storing and treating fecal sewage and providing clean sanitary ware and washing facilities.
II. Classification Methods
- By structural form: Mobile restrooms can be divided into single-structure mobile restrooms and composite-structure mobile restrooms. Single-structure mobile restrooms are usually relatively simple and suitable for places with limited space or temporary needs; while composite-structure mobile restrooms are more complex and may include multiple functional areas, such as restrooms and storage rooms, suitable for places with higher facility requirements.
- By moving method: They can be divided into lifting and handling mobile restrooms and powered and towed mobile restrooms. Lifting and handling mobile restrooms usually require external equipment for movement and are suitable for large construction sites or places that need frequent relocation; while powered and towed mobile restrooms have autonomous moving capabilities and are more flexible and convenient.
- By sewage treatment method: They can be divided into water-flush and non-water-flush suction mobile restrooms, circulating water-flush mobile restrooms, and dry-packing mobile restrooms. Water-flush and non-water-flush suction mobile restrooms treat fecal sewage through water flushing or suction; circulating water-flush mobile restrooms realize water resource reuse through a circulating water system; and dry-packing mobile restrooms use dry-packing technology to package and treat fecal sewage, reducing dependence on water resources.
III. Features and Advantages Mobile restrooms have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. They can be conveniently transported to any place where restrooms need to be set up and can be used repeatedly, reducing construction and maintenance costs. In addition, mobile restrooms are also suitable for a variety of places such as stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets, meeting the restroom needs in different scenarios.
