Mobile Restroom Toilet Drainage

Quản trị 11 tháng 10, 2026

There are five main drainage methods for mobile restrooms: direct drainage, fecal tank storage, waterless flushing, water flushing, and foam sealing.

Direct-drainage mobile restrooms require connection to water supply and drainage pipes, with a drainage principle similar to that of fixed restrooms, directly discharging sewage into municipal pipelines or septic tanks through pipes. This method offers high processing efficiency but relies on external infrastructure, making it suitable for locations with water supply and drainage facilities, such as temporary office areas at construction sites or supporting areas for large events.

Fecal tank storage mobile restrooms collect waste in built-in sealed tanks, typically with capacities ranging from 100 to 500 liters, requiring regular removal by suction trucks for treatment. This method is suitable for remote areas or temporary locations without water supply and drainage, such as field construction sites or music festival venues. Some products are equipped with liquid level sensors to monitor tank capacity in real-time and issue cleaning reminders.

Waterless flushing mobile restrooms use microbial degradation or physical sealing technology without the need for water pipe connections. Microbial degradation types decompose waste into harmless substances by adding specialized bacteria, while physical sealing types use coverings like sawdust or coconut coir to mask odors. These restrooms offer zero-emission advantages but require regular replenishment of degradation materials or coverings, making them suitable for arid regions or ecologically sensitive areas.

Water-flushing mobile restrooms, although requiring connection to water supply and drainage pipes, achieve water conservation through rainwater collection and filtration systems and secondary flushing technology using handwashing water. Their water tank capacities typically range from 100 to 200 liters, meeting the needs of 50 to 100 users. Some high-end products are also equipped with reclaimed water reuse devices, filtering handwashing water for flushing, achieving a water-saving rate of over 60%, suitable for locations with high hygiene requirements.

Foam-sealing mobile restrooms generate high-density foam through a foaming device to cover the toilet surface, utilizing the lubricating and sealing effects of the foam for waterless flushing. This method consumes only 0.2 to 0.5 liters of water per foaming and effectively suppresses odor production with antibacterial components in the foam. Their sewage tanks require cleaning every 3 to 5 days, making them suitable for cold regions or areas with scarce water resources.
