Mobile Public Toilet Manufacturing Process

Quản trị 10 tháng 10, 2026

The manufacturing process of mobile public toilets covers multiple aspects such as design, material selection, production, environmental protection treatment, quality inspection, and maintenance. The specific process is as follows:

1. Design Phase

It is necessary to balance space utilization and functionality. Internally, it is usually divided into a hand-washing area and a toilet area, with some equipped with barrier-free facilities. At the same time, environmental adaptability is considered, such as ventilation, lighting, and drainage design to ensure comfortable use. The exterior design should be in harmony with the surrounding environment. For example, in park settings, a simple shape that blends into the landscape may be adopted.

2. Material Selection

The main materials are fiberglass, stainless steel, or eco-friendly composite materials. These materials have anti-corrosion and easy-to-clean properties and can adapt to outdoor environments. High-end models incorporate insulation layers to regulate temperatures in summer and winter, and internal installations of activated carbon filters or mechanical exhaust systems are used to reduce odors.

3. Manufacturing Process

  • Handmade DIY Example:
Using a water storage tank or container as the main body, an opening is cut with an angle grinder, and universal wheels are fixed at the bottom for mobility. Wooden strips or frames are used to increase height and secure the water storage device. Functional module installations include: drilling a hole at the bottom of the tank to connect a drainage pipe to form a floor drain, and fixing the toilet to the drainage port with glass glue; drilling a hole on the side of the tank to connect a water pipe for installing a water tank or storage container; drilling a hole in a pipe cap to fix a stainless steel basin as a hand-washing basin and install a faucet; making a bath heater or showerhead with water pipes and installing a bracket. Details are refined by installing door frames, door panels, and door handles, and applying waterproof paint to wooden strips to enhance aesthetics.
  • Factory Production Process:
Modular frames are fixed by welding or bolts to ensure structural stability. Internal pipelines (such as anti-freeze water pipes) and electrical wiring (such as solar panel power supply systems) are installed. The exterior walls are covered with materials such as fiberglass or stainless steel. Pre-installed sanitary fixtures such as toilets, hand-washing basins, and faucets are installed, along with deodorization systems. Smart devices such as sensor-activated flushing, people flow statistics, or automatic fault alarms are embedded.

4. Environmental Protection Treatment

Excrement treatment uses traditional sewage storage tanks for regular removal or modern biodegradation (microbial decomposition) and membrane filtration sewage treatment technologies. Water-saving designs apply water-saving flushing systems or waterless urinals, and some models collect rainwater for flushing.

5. Quality Inspection and Maintenance

Before leaving the factory, multiple tests such as leak tests and load-bearing checks are required. Long-term maintenance involves regularly replacing vulnerable parts such as hinges and locks, and using standardized parts to reduce maintenance costs.

6. Cost and Pricing

Material costs account for about 60%, with labor and R&D sharing the rest. The cost of ordinary models ranges from several thousand to tens of thousands of RMB, and models equipped with solar panels or advanced treatment systems are more expensive.

7. Market Applications and Trends

They are mainly used in scenic spots, construction sites, or temporary event venues. Future development directions include upgrading environmental protection technologies (such as more efficient deodorization solutions), lightweight design, and modular functional combinations.
