Mobile Portable Toilet Room

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

A mobile portable toilet room is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public.

I. Basic Components
A mobile portable toilet room typically consists of core components such as a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. Among them, the fecal treatment system is crucial. Water-flush toilets rely on water tanks for water supply, while non-water-flush toilets collect excrement through dry packing or suction methods. Mobile devices (such as universal wheels and towing structures) endow it with the ability for flexible deployment, allowing it to be quickly transferred to temporary event venues, disaster areas, or remote areas.

II. Classification Methods

  1. By structural form: It can be divided into single-unit structures (independent units) and composite structures (multi-module combinations). The latter can expand capacity through splicing to meet different scale requirements.
  2. By mobility method: It includes lifting and handling types (requiring lifting equipment), powered towing types (which can be towed by vehicles), and manually pushed types (such as those with universal wheel designs). The choice depends on site conditions and usage frequency.
  3. By sewage treatment: Water-flush types rely on municipal water supply or circulation systems; non-water-flush suction types collect excrement through vacuum pumps; dry-packing types use biodegradable bags and do not require a water source, making them suitable for water-scarce environments; and circulating water-flush types achieve water reuse through filtration and disinfection.

III. Core Advantages

  1. Mobility: It breaks through the limitation of traditional toilets' fixed positions and can quickly respond to temporary needs (such as music festivals and construction sites). It can also serve as an emergency facility during post-disaster reconstruction.
  2. Reusability: Modular design supports disassembly and reassembly, reducing long-term costs and avoiding resource waste.
  3. Environmental adaptability: Dry-packing and circulating water-flush types reduce sewage discharge, meeting ecological protection requirements. Some models use solar power for further energy reduction.

IV. Folk Innovation Cases
Some practitioners have made their own mobile toilets using water storage tanks and pallets: They achieve mobility by fixing universal wheels, cut the top of the water storage tank to form an opening, stack and fix it as walls, install toilets, faucets, and other sanitary ware inside, and connect water pipes and elbows to complete the sewage system. Although such designs are simple, they demonstrate the feasibility of resource reuse and low-cost solutions, suitable for personal or small-scale scenarios.
