Dimensions of Mobile Portable Toilets

Quản trị 20 tháng 9, 2026

The dimensions of mobile portable toilets vary depending on their type and usage scenarios, with common standard dimensions as follows:

Single-compartment mobile toilets typically have a length of 1.2-1.5 meters, a width of 1.0-1.2 meters, and a height of 2.2-2.5 meters. This compact design is suitable for scenarios with limited space and low foot traffic, such as construction sites and small event venues. Although the internal space is limited, it can meet basic toilet needs while facilitating easy transportation and rapid deployment.

Double-compartment mobile toilets have a length of 2.4-3.0 meters, a width of 1.2-1.5 meters, and a height of 2.2-2.5 meters. Compared to single-compartment models, double-compartment designs increase capacity and are suitable for scenarios with higher foot traffic, such as large events and tourist attractions. Their structure typically consists of two separate toilet compartments, allowing simultaneous use by two people and improving efficiency.

Multi-functional mobile toilets have a length of 3.0-4.5 meters, a width of 2.0-2.5 meters, and a height of 2.5-3.0 meters. This type offers more comprehensive functionality, including basic toilet areas as well as potential facilities such as sinks, mirrors, storage cabinets, and even barrier-free facilities. They are suitable for high-end events and long-term fixed venues, such as large exhibitions and sports events, providing a more comfortable user experience.

In terms of internal functional area dimensions, the net width of the toilet area should generally not be less than 0.85 meters, ideally reaching 0.9 to 1.0 meters; the net depth should be between 1.2 and 1.5 meters to ensure sufficient space for users. For barrier-free toilet compartments, the internal net width should typically be at least 1.5 meters, and the net depth should be at least 1.8 meters to facilitate wheelchair access and turning, meeting the needs of special populations.

When designing mobile portable toilets, in addition to dimensions, factors such as ergonomics, material selection, and waterproofing and moisture resistance must also be considered, and they must comply with the relevant provisions of the "Urban Public Toilet Design Standard" (CJJ 14-2016) to ensure the safety, practicality, and comfort of the toilets.
