Mobile Portable Toilet Construction

Quản trị 22 tháng 9, 2026

Mobile portable toilets can be constructed using storage barrels for self-made purposes or through factory prefabrication methods, as detailed below:

Self-made Portable Toilet Using Storage Barrels

  1. Basic Structure Construction
Use an angle grinder to split the storage barrel vertically in half, creating two semi-circular barrel bodies. Install universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board to ensure mobility. Use wooden strips and self-tapping screws to raise the edges of the barrel bodies, forming a space frame approximately 1.8 meters high. Reserve a doorway on the side and install sponge strips to create a sealed door frame structure.

  2. Wall and Roof Installation
Embed transparent or semi-transparent plastic soft panels as wall materials, ensuring privacy while facilitating natural light. Invert the upper half of the storage barrel to serve as the roof, sealing the connection with the walls using waterproof glue to prevent rainwater leakage. Drill a 10-centimeter diameter hole at the bottom, install a drainpipe to form a floor drain, ensuring smooth sewage discharge.

  3. Functional Component Configuration
Drill holes on the side to connect PVC fittings, inserting plastic buckets as water storage devices for collecting flushing sewage. Use water pipes to fabricate a simple bath heater bracket and install low-power heating lamps (equipped with leakage protection devices). Choose a portable plastic toilet for the toilet seat, securing it to the bottom of the barrel body with glass glue. Connect the drainpipe through a tee to the sewage bucket. Extend the outlet pipe horizontally to the doorway, install a faucet as the inlet pipe for the sink, and drill corresponding holes on the door to install fittings.

Factory Prefabricated Mobile Toilet Construction Method

  1. Frame Structure Design
Adopt a steel welding frame, using channel steel or I-beams at the bottom to enhance load-bearing capacity. Select square steel for columns to ensure structural stability. The frame should reserve lifting holes to meet the needs of overall mobility, suitable for rapid deployment in urban streets, parks, and other scenarios.

  2. Wall Material Selection
Options include color-coated steel plates (lightweight and durable), fiberglass (corrosion-resistant), stainless steel (easy to clean), or metal carved panels (aesthetically pleasing and heat-insulating). Materials must comply with fire and waterproof standards, typically with a thickness of 50-100 millimeters, and be fixed to the frame using bolts or rivets.

  3. Internal Configuration Upgrade
Equip with vacuum toilets or foam-type water-saving toilets to reduce sewage production. Install exhaust fans and lighting systems, with some models integrating air conditioners or heaters. The sewage system can use septic tanks or connect directly to municipal sewage networks, with some high-end models featuring microbial degradation technology for pollution-free discharge.

Precautions: Self-made toilets require regular cleaning of the sewage bucket, while factory-prefabricated models need inspection of the lifting structure's safety. Both methods must comply with local environmental protection and building codes. For public use, it is recommended to choose factory-prefabricated models to ensure compliance.
