Mobile Personal Toilet

Quản trị 20 tháng 9, 2026

A mobile personal toilet, also known as a mobile toilet, is a facility that can be moved as a whole to provide toilet services to the public and customers.

I. Basic Components Mobile toilets are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Initially, they were made of materials such as wood, with simple structures and functions, and were prone to absorbing odors. Later, they gradually evolved to use materials like fiberglass and polyethylene, which offer better durability and odor resistance.

II. Classification Methods

  1. By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and suitable for places with limited space or low temporary demand. Composite-structure toilets are more complex and have more comprehensive functions to meet a wider range of usage needs.
  2. By mobility method: They are classified into lifting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling mobile toilets usually require external equipment for movement and are suitable for places with short distances or low movement frequencies. Powered and towed mobile toilets have autonomous mobility capabilities and can be more conveniently adjusted in position according to needs.
  3. By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and waterless suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flush toilets have better cleaning effects but require a certain amount of water resources. Waterless suction toilets treat feces through suction, saving water resources. Circulating water-flush toilets can recycle water to improve water resource utilization. Dry-packing toilets pack feces for easy subsequent cleaning and transportation.

III. Characteristics and Uses Mobile toilets have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. They can be conveniently transported to any place where toilets need to be installed and can be used repeatedly. They originated from the temporary and阶段性 (phased, here it can be translated as 'periodic') needs for toilets in specific situations. Due to the shortage and unreasonable layout of urban public toilets, the government installs mobile public toilets in areas where it is relatively difficult to build fixed public toilets to make up for the deficiencies in the quantity and layout of public toilets. In the market, there are many brands of single-person mobile toilets, which are of the movable type and are made of materials including color-coated steel plates, stainless steel, galvanized steel plates, and plastics.
