Disadvantages of Mobile House Containers
The main disadvantages of mobile house containers include poor thermal insulation performance, inadequate fire resistance, limited space and safety hazards, susceptibility to rust, and potential water leakage issues.

Poor Thermal Insulation Performance: Due to differences in materials used, the thermal insulation performance of low-end container houses cannot be guaranteed. To achieve better thermal insulation, it is necessary to choose products from manufacturers with quality assurance, which are usually about twice the price of low-end products.
Inadequate Fire Resistance: Some container houses use flammable materials for the panel cores, such as polyurethane and polystyrene. These materials have low ignition points and poor flame resistance, and will immediately burn when exposed to high-temperature sparks, short-circuited wire beads, or open flames. The honeycomb structure of the materials increases the contact area with air, leading to intense combustion. Additionally, the strength of steel structures significantly decreases under high temperatures, and when the temperature reaches around 600℃, the steel is prone to deformation or even collapse, which is not conducive to personnel evacuation and rescue operations.
Limited Space and Safety Hazards: Containers are not originally designed for human habitation, so their internal space is relatively narrow, with poor ventilation and lighting, and unsatisfactory sound insulation. At the same time, some users, in pursuit of usable area, do not leave safety passages and evacuation spaces that meet regulatory requirements. In the event of an emergency such as a fire, personnel evacuation will be obstructed, with unimaginable consequences.
Susceptibility to Rust: The steel structures of container houses are at risk of rust when exposed to humid environments for long periods. It is essential to take anti-rust measures, such as professional fire-resistant cladding and long-lasting anti-corrosion treatment, to ensure the safety and durability of the building throughout its lifecycle.
Potential Water Leakage Issues: During the installation and use of container houses, water leakage may occur if the roof is trampled on, causing fasteners to loosen, or if the waterproof materials are substandard, the waterproofing treatment is unreasonable, or the panels of the mobile house deform.
