Mobile Emergency Toilet
A mobile emergency toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides temporary toilet services to the public, featuring strong flexibility and wide applicability to various scenarios.

I. Basic Composition
Mobile emergency toilets are typically composed of modules such as fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Their core functional modules can be flexibly configured according to needs. For example, waterless flushing toilets are equipped with a composite microbial community treatment system that achieves harmless treatment of excrement through biodegradation technology, eliminating the need for traditional water flushing systems.
II. Classification Methods
- By structural form: They are divided into single-unit structures (independent units) and composite structures (multi-unit combinations), with the latter being able to meet the needs of large-scale events or high-traffic scenarios through splicing.
- By mobility method: They include lifting and handling types (requiring mechanical assistance) and powered towing types (with their own power or capable of being towed by vehicles), suitable for different terrains and transportation conditions.
- By sewage treatment method:
- Water flushing and waterless flushing suction types: Rely on a water source or regular suction for cleaning;
- Recirculating water flushing types: Achieve water reuse through filtration systems;
- Dry packing types: Use biodegradable bags to collect excrement, suitable for scenarios without water and electricity;
- Waterless flushing types: Utilize microbial communities to stably decompose excrement at 40°C, completely eliminating the need for a water source.
III. Core Advantages
- Flexible deployment: They can be quickly installed in areas that are difficult for fixed public toilets to cover, such as disaster sites, large-scale outdoor events, and remote construction sites, making up for the shortage or layout defects of public toilets.
- Strong environmental adaptability: Waterless flushing toilets are particularly suitable for environments with water shortages, low temperatures, or unstable power supplies. Their biodegradation technology can avoid secondary pollution.
- Economical and efficient: Modular design reduces transportation and maintenance costs. Recirculating water flushing and dry packing types can reduce water consumption, aligning with the concept of sustainable development.
IV. Application Scenarios
The government often deploys them in areas where fixed public toilet construction is difficult, such as urban fringe areas, tourist attractions, and transportation hubs, or uses them as emergency sanitation facilities in public emergencies (such as earthquakes and epidemics) to safeguard basic livelihood needs.
