Mobile Container House Installation

Quản trị 17 tháng 9, 2026

The installation of mobile container houses must follow standardized procedures to ensure safety and functionality. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Preliminary Preparations

Before installation, conduct a comprehensive assessment of the site. The ground must be level and solid, with a bearing capacity that meets design requirements. Common treatment methods include concrete hardening or gravel compaction to prevent house deformation due to foundation settlement. Additionally, confirm that there are no obstacles (such as trees or utility poles) around the site to ensure sufficient space for transportation and lifting. Furthermore, obtain site usage permits in advance to avoid legal disputes caused by unauthorized construction.

2. Transportation and Positioning

Container houses are typically transported using professional cranes or flatbed trucks. During transportation, secure the house to the vehicle with steel wires or fixing devices to prevent shifting or overturning. Upon arrival at the site, use a crane for precise lifting. Adjust the house's levelness with a spirit level to ensure that the height difference between the four corners does not exceed 5 millimeters. If installing multiple containers, plan the arrangement in advance and reserve space for connections.

3. Foundation Connection and Sealing

After positioning the house, secure the container to the ground using expansion bolts or embedded parts. The bolt spacing should generally not exceed 1 meter to ensure structural stability. Pay special attention to joint treatment:

  • Waterproofing: Use waterproof glue or sealing tape to fill the gaps between container joints. Seal the gaps between window and door frames and the walls to prevent rainwater leakage.
  • Column Reinforcement: For specific types like quick-assembly containers, connect the four columns with corner fittings and secure them with screws one by one. After tightening the screws on the bottom beams, use an electric drill for secondary reinforcement to ensure overall stability.

4. Installation of Internal Facilities

Plan the layout of water and electricity pipelines in advance to avoid damaging the walls later:

  • Electrical System: Reserve positions for sockets and switches. The wiring must comply with local electrical codes and include grounding protection devices to prevent electric shock risks.
  • Water Supply System: It is recommended to run water pipes in concealed channels or provide insulation. In northern regions, consider frost protection measures.
  • Ventilation and Lighting: Install exhaust fans or skylights as needed to ensure indoor air circulation.

5. Post-Installation Inspection

After completion, conduct a comprehensive inspection:

  • Structural Inspection: Confirm that doors and windows open and close smoothly, walls are free of cracks, and the overall structure is stable without shaking.
  • Functionality Test: Check that water and electricity systems are functioning properly, drainage is unobstructed, and sealing is up to standard.
  • Safety Assessment: Ensure that all fasteners are secure and grounding protection is effective.
If any issues are found, make immediate corrections to avoid leaving safety hazards.
