What Materials Are Used for Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 27 tháng 9, 2026

The materials commonly used for mobile toilets are mainly divided into three categories based on different structural and functional requirements: cabinet materials, interior materials, and composite structural materials. Details are as follows:

I. Cabinet Materials

  1. Galvanized Steel Plate
Galvanized steel plates are treated with a zinc coating on the surface to form a protective layer, offering excellent rust resistance, especially suitable for humid environments such as coastal areas. They have high strength, effectively resist external impacts, and extend service life, but are relatively heavy and require mechanical equipment for handling.

  2. Aluminum Alloy
Aluminum alloy has a low density and light weight, facilitating frequent handling and redeployment, making it suitable for mobile scenarios such as temporary events and construction sites. Although its corrosion resistance is weaker than that of galvanized steel plates, surface oxidation treatment can enhance its anti-corrosion capabilities. Additionally, it has excellent processing properties, meeting the needs of complex structural designs.

  3. Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) and Polyethylene
Single-unit mobile toilets often use FRP or polyethylene materials. FRP, composed of glass fibers and resin, is lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant; polyethylene, a thermoplastic, has strong chemical stability and good plasticity, suitable for mass production of standardized toilet units.

  4. Concrete and Lightweight Steel Structural Panels
Some mobile toilets are constructed by assembling concrete panels or using steel structures as supports covered with lightweight panels (such as aluminum composite panels and PVC panels). Concrete structures are stable but heavy, suitable for long-term fixed use; lightweight steel structural panels balance strength and portability, suitable for medium-scale mobile scenarios.

II. Interior Materials

Antibacterial Composite Materials
Interior walls, partitions, and other contact areas often use antibacterial composite materials, which have smooth surfaces, are easy to clean, effectively inhibit bacterial growth, and reduce odor retention. These materials typically incorporate antibacterial agents or use special coating processes, meeting public health standards and suitable for high-frequency use scenarios.

III. Composite Structural Materials

Color-Coated Steel Plate
Color-coated steel plates are composed of color-coated steel sheets and core materials such as foam or rock wool, offering the advantages of being lightweight, easy to install, and cost-effective. The core materials provide thermal insulation, while the coated steel sheets enhance weather resistance. They are widely used in the construction of walls and roofs of mobile public toilets, especially suitable for projects with limited budgets.

Summary: The selection of materials for mobile toilets should comprehensively consider the usage environment, frequency of movement, cost, and hygiene requirements. In humid areas, galvanized steel plates are preferred; for scenarios requiring frequent handling, aluminum alloy is suitable; when high interior cleanliness is required, antibacterial composite materials should be used; and for projects with limited budgets, color-coated steel plates are a good choice. The combination of different materials can achieve a balance between functionality and cost.
