Materials for Container Houses
Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026
The materials used in container houses mainly include structural steel, wall and roof materials, flooring materials, door and window materials, and other auxiliary materials.

Structural Steel:
- The main structural support of container houses is made of steel, such as hot-dip galvanized cold-formed steel, angle steel, channel steel, and pipes. These steels have high strength and corrosion resistance, ensuring the structural safety of the house. For example, packing-box container houses use hot-dip galvanized cold-formed steel as their framework, providing excellent rust and corrosion resistance.
Wall and Roof Materials:
- Walls and roofs often use sandwich panels, such as rock wool sandwich panels, glass wool sandwich panels, or polyurethane sandwich panels. These materials combine thermal insulation and fire resistance, meeting the basic requirements for insulation, sound insulation, and fire protection in container houses. For example, rock wool sandwich panels offer Class A fire resistance, moisture resistance, corrosion resistance, sound insulation, and thermal insulation.
Flooring Materials:
- Floors typically use cement fiber boards or steel-wood composite floors, which are sturdy and durable, capable of withstanding a certain amount of pressure and wear.
Door and Window Materials:
- Doors and windows often use aluminum alloy frames paired with insulated glass. Aluminum alloy doors and windows are lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, and corrosion-resistant, while also providing good thermal insulation. Insulated glass increases the house's natural light and field of view while improving sound insulation.
Other Auxiliary Materials:
- Container houses may also use plastic products such as plastic pipes and boards, as well as auxiliary materials like waterproof coatings and insulation layers to meet different usage needs and functional requirements. For example, double treatment of the roof with waterproof coatings and insulation layers ensures the house remains leak-free during rain and stays warm in winter.
