Making Mobile Toilet Base
There are two ways to make a mobile toilet base:

Method 1: Using a plastic pallet First, prepare a plastic pallet as the basic structure. Plastic pallets are lightweight and corrosion-resistant, making them suitable as the base material for a mobile toilet. Use tools (such as an electric drill or screwdriver) to fix universal wheels at each of the four corners on the bottom of the pallet, ensuring that the wheels are firmly installed and rotate flexibly. When choosing universal wheels, consider their load-bearing capacity. It is recommended to select models with a larger diameter and sturdy material to support the subsequent installation of a water storage tank and other facilities. After installing the universal wheels, place the water storage tank on the pallet. The size of the tank should match that of the pallet to avoid instability due to an oversized tank or wasted space due to an undersized one. The tank can be secured using straps or special buckles to prevent displacement during movement.
Method 2: Using a wooden board and a bucket Another method is to use a wooden board as the main body of the base. Choose a wooden board with an appropriate thickness and a sturdy structure, with dimensions determined according to actual needs, generally larger than the bottom area of the bucket to provide stable support. Install universal wheels at each of the four corners on the bottom of the board in the same way as with the plastic pallet, ensuring a tight connection between the wheels and the board. Then, place the cut bucket on the board. The cutting of the bucket should be carried out according to design requirements, such as retaining the bottom as a water storage part or cutting the top as an entrance. The bucket can be fixed using bolts or welding (if the material of the board allows) to ensure a firm connection between the bucket and the board. If the bucket is used for water storage, a drainage outlet should be reserved at the bottom and a valve installed for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Precautions:
- Material selection: Plastic pallets are suitable for lightweight designs, while wooden boards are more suitable for scenarios requiring higher load-bearing capacity.
- Universal wheel installation: Ensure that the universal wheels are perpendicular to the base to avoid deviation or jamming during movement.
- Center of gravity balance: When placing the water storage tank or bucket, consider the distribution of the center of gravity to avoid tipping due to excessive weight on one side.
- Waterproof treatment: If the base is in long-term contact with water, apply a waterproof coating to the wooden board to extend its service life.
Both methods can achieve the basic function of a mobile toilet base. The specific choice can be made according to the difficulty of obtaining materials, cost budget, and usage scenario.
