Container Houses in Lushan County
Container houses in Lushan County are primarily used in community neighborhood spaces, earthquake disaster relief areas, and forest fire prevention and inspection checkpoints.

In terms of community neighborhood spaces, an idle container of about 12 square meters on the Han Culture Square in Xianfeng Community, Lushan County, has been ingeniously transformed into the "Jiajiale Neighborhood Space." This transformation, which cost less than 5,000 yuan, effectively addressed numerous challenges faced by community residents. The functional areas of this space fully reflect the wishes of the residents, with multiple functional areas such as the "Warm Heart Station," "Shared Tool Room," "Child Protection Corner," and "Charity Bazaar" determined through resident voting. Meanwhile, to better collect residents' needs, both online and offline methods were employed, and a "Wish Display Wall" was set up. In terms of resource acquisition, the community adopted a "self-sufficiency" approach, with cumulative donations of materials worth approximately 4,500 yuan from various parties. Daily operations are managed by the "Xianxing Volunteer Service Team," ensuring the continuous and effective use of the space.
In earthquake disaster relief areas, Lushan County has also made full use of the advantages of container houses. Ten mobile container houses and two mobile toilets produced by Xinjiang Baidehaosi Residential System Technology Development Co., Ltd. were quickly transported to the earthquake-stricken areas of Lushan County, providing shelters for the affected people and effectively solving the problem of toilet access. These container houses, characterized by their rapid construction and ease of movement, are highly suitable for use in emergency situations such as disaster areas.
In addition, Lushan County has also applied container houses to forest fire prevention and inspection checkpoints. In 2022, based on the existing 10 simple checkpoints, Lushan County self-financed 150,000 yuan to produce mobile containers to meet the requirements of 24-hour duty for the on-duty personnel. These container houses provide a relatively comfortable working environment for the on-duty personnel, helping them better perform their duties and thereby constructing a "1+1+7+7" model to further strengthen the forest fire prevention network.
