Liangzhu Mobile Toilets
The placement of mobile toilets in Liangzhu-related activities centers on functional suitability and environmental protection needs, specifically falling into two categories: event support and rental services.

I. Standardized Configuration for Large-Scale Events Taking the Liangzhu Civilization Exploration Trail Hiking Event as an example, the organizers set up 50 mobile toilets along the hiking route, achieving precise location navigation through the integration of event brochure QR codes and venue floor plans. Such configurations need to meet the following characteristics:
- Density and Coverage: Based on the number of participants (usually on a scale of thousands) and the length of the route (e.g., 10-20 kilometers), they are placed at intervals of every 200-400 meters to ensure that participants can reach one within a 10-minute walk.
- Simplified Functions: Basic single/double-occupancy mobile toilets are used, focusing on addressing excretion needs. They are internally equipped with anti-slip floors, ventilation openings, and simple lighting, with some adding barrier-free facilities to serve special groups.
- Dynamic Management: During the event, dedicated personnel are arranged to clean them at regular intervals to avoid queuing and congestion. At the same time, QR codes are used to update the toilet usage status (such as 'Available' or 'Under Maintenance') in real time.
II. Flexible Rental for Scenic Spots and Commercial Activities In scenic spots like the Liangzhu Ancient City Site and commercial activities, the rental services for mobile toilets exhibit diversity and customization features:
- Model Selection:
- Standard Model: Single/double-occupancy, suitable for small-scale events or temporary supplements, with lower costs.
- Deluxe Model: Equipped with air conditioning, independent sinks, mirrors, and storage hooks to enhance the user experience, often used in high-end exhibitions or long-term exhibitions.
- Trailer-Mounted Model: Highly mobile, suitable for outdoor scenarios with complex terrain, such as the archaeological experience area within the site park.
- Environmental Suitability: Scenic spots give priority to selecting environmentally friendly mobile toilets, which adopt biodegradation technology or circulating water systems to reduce sewage discharge and meet the site protection requirements. For example, some toilets decompose excrement through the addition of microbial strains to achieve harmless treatment.
- Optimized Configuration: During rental, accessories such as sinks, hand dryers, and child safety seats can be added as needed. Some service providers also offer combined packages of 'toilet + sink + rest area' to meet comprehensive needs.
III. Technical and Management Support The efficient operation of mobile toilets relies on digital tools and standardized processes:
- Location queries, usage evaluations, and fault reports can be realized through QR codes or mini-programs to improve management efficiency.
- Regular disinfection and replacement of consumables (such as toilet paper and hand soap) are included in the service contract to ensure hygiene standards.
- For cultural heritage sites like the Liangzhu Site, the transportation and installation of mobile toilets need to avoid the core protection areas, using low-noise equipment to reduce the impact on the environment.
