Lhasa Mobile Toilet Installation

Quản trị 22 tháng 9, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets in Lhasa requires systematic adjustments tailored to the unique high-altitude environment, covering aspects such as materials, foundations, sewage systems, energy supply, installation processes, and maintenance management to ensure the reliability and durability of the facilities under extreme conditions.

  1. Materials and Structural Design
The outer shell is made of color-coated steel plates with anti-UV coatings, and the interior is filled with polyurethane or rock wool insulation layers to adapt to the low-temperature environment of the plateau. Structural connectors are made of galvanized or stainless steel to prevent metal oxidation caused by thin air. The box body adopts a modular prefabricated design, allowing for rapid installation through assembly and minimizing ecological disturbance from on-site construction.

  2. Foundation Treatment
For permafrost layers, concrete independent foundations or steel-frame elevated foundations are used to prevent ground deformation caused by freeze-thaw cycles. The flatness of the foundation must be checked with a laser level, with an error strictly controlled within 3 millimeters to ensure structural stability.

  3. Sewage System
Under the low-pressure environment of the plateau, conventional gravity-based sewage systems are prone to failure and must be replaced with pressure-assisted or vacuum suction systems to ensure directional collection of waste. In winter, pipes must be equipped with electric tracing tapes or use special anti-freezing materials to prevent freezing and blockage.

  4. Energy Supply
An off-grid power supply solution combining solar photovoltaic panels with battery packs is adopted, with the roof designed as a slope to optimize power generation efficiency. The energy storage system uses low-temperature-resistant batteries and is equipped with a management module to address power shortages caused by shortened daylight hours in winter.

  5. Installation Process and Quality Control
The main frame is connected with high-strength bolts, and the wall and roof panels use a concealed snap-fit system, with seams filled with sealant strips. During installation, structural perpendicularity and bolt torque values must be checked, along with waterproof and insulation resistance tests. Functional debugging includes verifying parameters such as flush valve response time and ventilation system air exchange efficiency.

  6. Maintenance Management
Regularly inspect the performance of sealant strips, ventilation systems, and treatment equipment, reinforce connecting components, and apply anti-corrosion treatments. Cleaning and consumable replenishment should be included in daily plans to ensure long-term stable operation of the facilities.

These measures reflect the technical logic of modularity, low impact, and resource adaptation in high-altitude urban construction, providing a reliable solution for public facility construction in extreme environments.
