Ledong Container House Assembly

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

The assembly of container houses in Ledong requires comprehensive consideration of design, materials, construction, and compliance with regulations.

I. Design Planning
Before assembly, clarify the intended use of the house (such as residential, office, or storage) and design the floor plan, structural form, and dimensions accordingly. For example, if used for residential purposes, plan functional areas such as bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, and consider natural lighting, ventilation, and the pre-installation of water and electricity lines. During the design phase, refer to the modular design concept of standardized container houses to achieve spatial expansion by combining containers of different specifications (such as 20-foot or 40-foot standard units).

II. Material and Component Preparation
The main structure of the container house is a modified standard container, which must be free of severe rust or deformation and possess waterproof and fireproof properties. Additionally, prepare connecting components (such as high-strength bolts), insulation materials (such as rock wool boards), thermal insulation layers (such as polystyrene boards), interior and exterior wall decorative panels (such as metal carved panels or PVC hanging panels), and doors and windows. If structural stability needs to be enhanced, steel beams or angle irons can be added for reinforcement.

III. Construction Process

  1. Foundation Construction: Select an appropriate foundation type (such as a concrete strip foundation or steel structure support) based on geological conditions, ensuring the ground is level and the load-bearing capacity meets requirements.
  2. Container Positioning and Fixing: Use a crane to lift the containers to the designated positions, secure them to the foundation with bolts or welding, and check the levelness.
  3. Structural Connection: If multiple containers are combined, weld connection plates at the columns or beams of adjacent containers to enhance overall stability.
  4. Interior Finishing: Install water and electricity lines, lay floors (such as wooden floors or tiles), install doors and windows and interior and exterior wall decorative panels, and complete thermal insulation treatment.

IV. Compliance and Safety
During the assembly process, comply with local building codes and safety standards, such as ensuring structural load-bearing capacity, fire resistance rating, and seismic performance meet requirements. If the project involves farmland or forest land, obtain land use approval in advance to avoid illegal occupation. Additionally, inspect the original structural integrity of the containers before construction to avoid safety hazards caused by modifications.
