Lanzhou Mobile Toilet Bus

Quản trị 09 tháng 10, 2026

The Lanzhou Mobile Toilet Bus is an innovative sanitation facility that has been put into use in the Lanzhou New Area and near Zhongshan Bridge.

I. Basic Structure and Facility Configuration The Lanzhou Mobile Toilet Bus resembles an ordinary bus in appearance, but its interior is a standardized restroom. The front section is designated as the men's restroom, featuring 3 independent stalls and 2 urinals. The rear section is the women's restroom, equipped with 3 independent stalls, as well as sinks, hand dryers, mirrors, hand soap, and paper towels. Additionally, the vehicle is installed with an air-conditioning system, with one set each for the men's and women's restroom areas, ensuring a comfortable environment. Functions such as lighting and ventilation are controlled by an automatic intelligent processor system through sensors. The partitions are made of waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and pollution-free materials, making them both eco-friendly and durable.

II. Water-Saving and Eco-Friendly Design This facility excels in water conservation, with each flush using only 220-300 milliliters of water, approximately 1/20th of the national standard for water-saving toilets. This design significantly reduces water consumption, aligning with modern eco-friendly concepts. Moreover, the vehicle is equipped with an onboard generator for independent power supply, ensuring stable electricity services and preventing disruptions due to external power issues.

III. Application Scenarios and Functional Positioning The Lanzhou Mobile Toilet Bus is primarily used for support tasks during major events, holidays, bustling commercial areas, and tourist attractions. For example, during the peak tourist season, the Lanzhou Yellow River Scenic Area Management Committee added several emergency public toilets near Zhongshan Bridge, including mobile toilet buses, to alleviate the demand for restrooms among tourists. Additionally, Lanzhou's first mobile bus toilet has been put into use at Yunfeng Square, featuring a total of 8 independent restrooms for both men and women, all equipped with sensor-activated flushing, ensuring cleanliness and odor-free conditions, and installed with air-conditioning, storage racks, safety handrails, and other thoughtful facilities.

IV. Operational Stage and Development Prospects Currently, these mobile toilet buses are in the adjustment and trial phase. Once officially operational, they will gradually replace outdated sanitation support methods. Their advantage lies in providing all-weather mobile services, significantly reducing operational costs while enhancing the quality of sanitation support, offering strong support for the modernization and upgrading of urban public facilities.
