Lanzhou Mobile Scenic Toilet

Quản trị 22 tháng 9, 2026

The Lanzhou mobile scenic toilet is a public service facility designed in accordance with the characteristics of Lanzhou scenic spots, featuring terrain adaptation, modularity, comprehensive functionality, and intelligent operation and maintenance.

Design Layout

The layout of the Lanzhou mobile scenic toilet fully considers the terrain of the scenic spots and the paths of tourist flows. It is prioritized for placement in mountainous areas, riverside regions, and areas where fixed pipelines are difficult to cover, avoiding geologically sensitive zones and maintaining an appropriate accessible distance from major sightseeing nodes. During the peak tourist season, they are set up at intervals of every 500 meters along the main sightseeing routes, with 20% of mobile units reserved to handle sudden surges in tourist numbers. These toilets generally adopt a modular box structure, with prefabricated components completing the main production in factories and enabling rapid on-site assembly. The box materials are mostly glass-reinforced plastics or metal composite panels with strong weather resistance, suitable for Lanzhou's large temperature differences between day and night and significant seasonal climate fluctuations. Some use a composite structure of galvanized steel plates and aluminum alloys, with anchor bolt fixing systems added in special terrains, allowing a single unit to be installed and commissioned within four hours.

Functional Design

The sanitation treatment systems offer options of waterless flushing and packaging or circulating water flushing systems. Currently, closed-loop systems are commonly equipped, including water-saving flushing devices, solid separation equipment, and biodegradation units, with daily water consumption controlled at less than 30% of traditional facilities. Some models integrate bioreactors for sewage treatment, preventing soil infiltration pollution. The ventilation system combines passive air ducts with mechanical exhaust, with gravity-sensing ventilation devices inside the boxes. Solar photovoltaic panels on the roof provide auxiliary power for lighting and deodorization equipment. High-altitude scenic spots are equipped with double-layer insulated walls and freeze-proof drainage pipes.

Operation and Maintenance Management

Cleaning and maintenance adopt a tiered response model, with three daily basic cleanings, weekly in-depth disinfections, and monthly replacements of consumable parts. Neutral environmentally friendly cleaning agents are used, and waste is sealed and transported for harmless treatment. Waste collection is classified and transported, with organic solid materials convertible into soil improvement materials. All toilet locations are connected to the scenic spot's smart management system, monitoring usage frequency, toilet paper inventory, and sewage treatment status through sensor data to achieve on-demand allocation of cleaning resources.

Technological Development

It is developing towards energy self-sufficiency and intelligent monitoring, with solar photovoltaic panels providing auxiliary power and sensor networks providing real-time feedback on usage status and resource levels, offering sanitation guarantees for tourism activities in ecologically sensitive areas.
