New Mobile Toilets in Kunming

Quản trị 09 tháng 10, 2026

The newly built mobile toilets in Kunming, represented by the mobile toilet vehicles in the Dianchi National Tourism Resort, feature upgraded configurations and flexible service capabilities, and have been officially put into use.

I. Core Functions and Design Upgrades

This mobile toilet vehicle has undergone comprehensive improvements to address the shortcomings of traditional models. It adopts an independent cubicle design, equipped with handwashing basins, ventilation systems, and air conditioners to enhance user comfort. The women's toilet has 5 squat toilets, while the men's toilet has 3 squat toilets and 3 urinals, with a total capacity of about 11 people. Additionally, 2 dedicated squat toilets for the disabled have been added to meet accessibility needs. Each disabled toilet is equipped with an emergency button to ensure a rapid response in emergencies.

II. Environmental Protection and Convenience Optimization

The vehicle employs environmentally friendly water-saving technology, featuring a separate design for clean water and wastewater tanks to achieve resource recycling. When the wastewater tank is full, an environmentally friendly suction truck can extract the waste on-site and transport it to a professional disposal site, preventing secondary pollution. Mobility convenience is another advantage, as the vehicle can be quickly deployed to areas with high demand based on changes in pedestrian traffic, such as during peak tourist seasons at scenic spots, providing flexible “on-call” services.

III. Service Scenarios and Operational Models

The vehicle is customized for high-traffic scenarios in the Dianchi Resort, such as during large-scale events like the South Asia Expo, effectively supplementing the shortage of fixed public toilets. Its operation is managed by Yunnan Jinghuan Haijie Company and was officially put into use on November 1st, with plans to expand coverage to more areas after completing necessary procedures. Additionally, the Kunming Urban Management Bureau has introduced Kunming Kangting Environmental Sanitation Equipment Co., Ltd. through bidding to handle the mobile toilet support project for the 10th South Asia Expo, reflecting the government's standardized management of public facility services.

IV. Technological Highlights and Social Value

The vehicle integrates a fresh air system and tap water access, addressing issues of poor ventilation and strong odors in traditional mobile toilets. The air conditioning is adapted to Yunnan's climate, enhancing the user experience in extreme weather conditions. Its design balances capacity, comfort, and environmental friendliness, providing a replicable solution for highly mobile public scenarios and contributing to the improvement of Kunming's tourism environment and city image.
