Korean Concrete Prefabricated Housing
Korean concrete prefabricated housing technology is characterized by high efficiency, rapid construction, and factory-based production, enabling quick assembly of houses and immediate occupancy upon completion. This is reflected in the following aspects:

Rapid Assembly of Main Structures: In Korea's concrete prefabricated housing, the use of prefabricated components for assembly significantly shortens construction time. For example, there have been cases where the main structure was assembled in just 14 days using prefabricated parts. This rapid assembly is made possible by the pre-production of components in factories, where walls, floors, and other parts are prefabricated and then simply assembled on-site, eliminating the need for traditional brick-by-brick construction and greatly improving construction efficiency.
Advanced Fixing and Connection Technologies: During the house assembly process, Korea employs unique fixing and connection technologies. For instance, 5-ton foundation piles are fixed using base plates, ensuring the stability of the foundation and providing a solid base for the house. Beams are quickly connected using mortise-and-tenon joints, a traditional Chinese architectural connection method that has been adopted in Korean concrete prefabricated housing. This method not only ensures a strong connection but also allows for rapid installation. Stairs are installed like building blocks, followed by the laying of 5-centimeter-thick floor slabs, further accelerating the construction progress.
Factory-Based Production Ensures Quality and Efficiency: Korea boasts advanced component factories, such as the GS E&C Component Factory, designed and built by Echo Precast Engineering, which has been fully operational since 2022. The factory is equipped with high-precision machinery and concrete transportation systems, ensuring seamless flow of concrete across five production workshops. On 12 Echo production lines, each 150 meters long, the factory produces nearly 10,000 square meters of hollow floor slabs per week, with a maximum thickness of 500 millimeters. With its exceptional automation and engineering capabilities, the factory consistently delivers top-quality prefabricated components through optimized processes and efficient, reliable operations, providing high-quality parts for concrete prefabricated housing.
Immediate Occupancy Upon Completion: Since all components of the house, including walls, floors, and even stairs, are prefabricated in factories, on-site assembly and simple treatments, such as grouting the gaps between all components, are all that is required. This reduces wet work and dust pollution on-site, allowing for immediate occupancy upon completion and providing convenience for residents.
