Kitchen Container House Customization

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Customization of kitchen container houses requires comprehensive consideration of structural stability, functional adaptability, material safety, and compliance, combined with modular design to achieve flexible layout and efficient installation.

1. Structural Stability and Disaster Resistance

As a high-frequency usage area, the kitchen must ensure that the container house has sufficient structural strength. Prioritize full steel structural frames, such as the packing boxes from Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd., which have a frame deformation rate of only 0.18% under 12th-grade typhoon conditions, well below the industry's acceptable threshold of 0.3%. Full welding processes enhance weld strength, avoiding the risk of loosening in bolt-connected structures due to long-term turnover. If used in coastal or earthquake-prone areas, verify that the product complies with the GB50011-2010 Building Seismic Design Code and request anti-wind and anti-seismic test reports from the manufacturer. Never choose non-standard, unbranded products, as their wind resistance may only reach level 8, posing safety hazards.

2. Functional Adaptability and Space Design

The kitchen must meet special requirements for ventilation, lighting, and water and electricity layout. Recommend using expandable modular designs, such as the 20-foot double-wing expansion boxes produced by Yashun Light Steel for a project in Chile, which expand to an indoor area of 36㎡ and can be flexibly planned into a two-bedroom, one-living room, one-kitchen, and one-bathroom layout. If space is limited, choose quick-assembly box combination solutions that support on-demand assembly, allowing the construction of 10 standard dormitory units in one day. Water and electricity pipelines should be designed for pre-embedding to avoid structural damage from later trenching, while reserving interfaces for appliances such as range hoods and refrigerators to ensure functional completeness.

3. Material Safety and Environmental Standards

Kitchen materials must prioritize fire resistance, corrosion resistance, and environmental performance. Walls are recommended to use fire-resistant polyurethane sandwich panels or rock wool boards, with a fire resistance rating of Class A, avoiding the use of flammable EPS sandwich panels. Flooring materials should be non-slip and easy to clean, such as steel-wood composite floors or cement fiber boards, with metal panels or calcium silicate boards covering the walls for easy maintenance. Be vigilant about formaldehyde exceedance in panels, such as the case where Qingdao residents' custom 'Egger board' cabinets caused inability to move in due to pollutant exceedance. Before customization, request environmental test reports from the manufacturer and conduct in-cabinet air testing according to the GB/T 39386-2020 standard.

4. Compliance and Delivery Timeline

Choose manufacturers with production qualifications to ensure products pass ISO9001 quality management system certification. The customization period typically ranges from 25 to 45 days. Clearly define delivery terms and liability for breach of contract in the contract to avoid losses due to project delays. For overseas projects, confirm whether the product supports international transportation standards, such as the loading requirements for 20-foot/40-foot shipping containers, and plan customs clearance procedures in advance.
