Jingjiang container mobile houses mainly refer to the full range of modular houses produced by China Construction Steel Structure Jiangsu Co., Ltd. They are transported in the form of containers and assembled on-site into fully furnished residences.

Construction Method

Unlike traditional buildings that are constructed brick by brick on-site, modular buildings are assembled. The factory breaks down the entire building into several independent space units and completes more than 80% of the processes, including the main structure, interior decoration, and installation of mechanical and electrical pipelines, in the workshop. After the houses arrive at the designated location, only a small number of processes, such as module assembly and water and electricity connection, are required before they can be put into use, with almost no additional large-scale construction needed.

• High precision in quality control: Factory-based operations allow most processes to be completed indoors, greatly improving the precision of product quality control and freeing workers from the harsh conditions of outdoor high-altitude work.
• High efficiency: Taking a previous 18-story high-rise residential project in Hong Kong undertaken by the company as an example, the construction period would have been 3 to 5 years using local traditional construction methods. However, with the modular construction solution, the project was completed and delivered within one year, shortening the overall construction period by 60% to 70%.
• Good safety performance: All modules are connected to the foundation with high-strength bolts, enabling the overall structure to withstand strong typhoons and high-grade earthquakes, with safety performance meeting local building codes.

Certifications and Qualifications

China Construction Steel Structure Group Co., Ltd., the parent company of China Construction Steel Structure, has previously obtained CSA W47.1 welding enterprise certification, CSA A660 steel structure building system manufacturer certification, and recently successfully obtained CSA A277 modular product certification, becoming the first company in China to collect all three core Canadian building standards. These three certifications cover the full-process compliance requirements for welding quality, overall building systems, and modular products, laying a solid foundation for the company to enter high-end overseas markets.
