Jimo Cement Prefabricated House

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

Jimo cement prefabricated houses are a form of housing based on cement prefabricated components, which are prefabricated in factories and then assembled on-site. They have the characteristics of low cost and fast construction, but they have shortcomings in terms of earthquake resistance, sound insulation, and heat insulation.

Construction Method and Cost

The construction process of cement prefabricated houses is similar to 'building with building blocks'. The factory produces wall panels, floor slabs, and other components in advance and then transports them to the construction site for assembly. This construction method has a relatively low cost, with a construction cost of about 300 yuan per square meter. Taking a two-story small building as an example, it can be built for just over a hundred thousand yuan.

Construction Speed and Occupancy Time

The construction speed of cement prefabricated houses is extremely fast. The main structure can be assembled within 4 hours, and the entire house can be occupied within two or three days. This characteristic of rapid construction makes it suitable for projects with urgent time requirements, such as temporary housing and emergency resettlement scenarios.

Performance Characteristics

  • Advantages: Low cost and fast construction are significant advantages of cement prefabricated houses, enabling them to meet the needs of rapid construction.
  • Disadvantages:
    • Poor Earthquake Resistance: Since the components are connected by splicing, the overall structural earthquake resistance is relatively weak, posing significant safety hazards in earthquake-prone areas.
    • Inadequate Sound Insulation and Heat Insulation: The material and splicing method of the prefabricated components result in poor sound insulation and heat insulation performance of the house, reducing living comfort.
    • Leakage at Splicing Joints: The sealing treatment at the splicing joints is difficult, and leakage problems are prone to occur, affecting the service life and living experience of the house.

Service Life

Theoretically, the service life of cement prefabricated houses can reach 70 years, but the actual service life is greatly affected by construction quality. If the splicing is not tight during construction or the quality of the components does not meet the standards, the service life of the house will be shortened.

Situation in Jimo Area

Currently, there is relatively little information on the overall business of cement prefabricated houses in the Jimo area, but cement prefabricated components are widely used in the construction field. For example, there is a business of custom-made prefabricated cement slab and gutter slab.
