Integrated House Container Installation Tutorial

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The tutorial for installing containers in integrated houses can be divided into steps such as selection, ground treatment, lifting and positioning, structural connection and fixation, water and electricity installation, and decoration. Details are as follows:

I. Selection Phase

Pay attention to the structural type of the container house. Common types include welded integral containers and bolt-connected assembled containers. The welded container is formed by integral welding in the factory, with a direct force path and strong resistance to deformation, suitable for frequent lifting and movement. The assembled container uses standard plates connected by bolts, with multiple connection nodes in the force path. When selecting, check the steel wall thickness of the columns and bottom beams, with common specifications ranging from 1.5 mm to 3 mm. The thicker the wall thickness, the greater the load-bearing redundancy, but the self-weight also increases accordingly. At the same time, pay attention to the coating process on the container surface. Hot-dip galvanizing has a longer anti-corrosion life than cold-dip galvanizing, especially in areas with large temperature differences between day and night and significant humidity changes, where the coating quality directly determines the rusting speed of the container.

II. Ground Treatment

Provide a uniform load-bearing foundation for the container house. For long-term fixed containers, pour a concrete strip foundation with a recommended width of 30 cm to 50 cm and a depth determined by the local frost depth. The top surface of the foundation should be kept level with a height difference of no more than 5 mm. For short-term use scenarios, pre-fabricated concrete pads or steel pads can be used. The spacing between pads should not exceed 2 meters, and a crushed stone leveling layer should be laid under each pad to ensure that the force points are on the same horizontal plane.

III. Lifting and Positioning

Precisely control the contact state between the container and the foundation. Container houses usually have four or six lifting points at the bottom. When lifting, use steel wire ropes with sufficient load-bearing capacity and ensure that all lifting points are under synchronous force to avoid container distortion caused by unilateral force. After the container is in place, immediately check the fit between the bottom beam and the foundation pad. If there is local suspension, use thin steel sheets to pad it up and use a level to detect along the longitudinal and transverse directions of the bottom beam. The levelness error should be controlled within 2 mm per meter.

IV. Structural Connection and Fixation

For assembled container houses, use hexagon socket bolts to connect the container corners and bottom beams, but do not tighten them temporarily. After alignment (ensuring that the diagonal difference of the bottom frame is ≤ 3 mm), tighten the bolts. At the same time, install π-shaped secondary beams according to the positions of the positioning holes on the long beams and fix them with self-tapping screws and round-head drill tail screws.

V. Water and Electricity Installation and Decoration

Install lighting fixtures, switch sockets, and reserve air conditioning holes, and lay floor leather, install window security grilles, and apply waterproof sealant, etc. Finally, decoration can be carried out according to needs to enhance the aesthetics and comfort of the house.
