Precautions for Installing Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 23 tháng 9, 2026

When installing mobile toilets, it is essential to focus on key aspects such as accessory inspection, proper use of offset flanges, and timing of installation along with ground preparation.

1. Thoroughly inspect accessories for completeness before installation
Upon receiving the mobile toilet, immediately unpack it and carefully check that all accessories are present. This step is crucial because missing critical components (such as fixing screws, sealing gaskets, or drainage fittings) can lead to installation interruptions or water leakage during later use. If any accessories are found to be missing or damaged, contact the supplier promptly for replacements to avoid affecting the overall progress due to minor oversights.

2. Strictly adhere to specifications when using toilet offset flanges
If an offset flange is required to adjust the toilet's position, note that the typical offset distance ranges from 2 cm to 15 cm, with common sizes on the market being 5 cm, 10 cm, and 15 cm. Some special models claim to allow offsets of up to 3 meters, but long-distance offsets pose significant risks: insufficient drainage slope can lead to sewage backflow, increased pipe complexity raises the likelihood of blockages, and installation difficulty rises substantially. Experts recommend keeping the offset distance within 15 cm; if a greater offset is necessary, prioritize rearranging the sewage pipes (plan the pipe route in advance and ensure a proper slope) or using a wall-mounted toilet (which hides the drainage pipe within the wall, reducing ground modifications).

3. Precisely control installation timing and ground preparation
The mobile toilet should be installed after tiling is complete, as the ground will then be level, and the tiles will protect the bottom of the toilet from wear. Before installation, thoroughly clean the ground, using a dry cloth or vacuum cleaner to remove sand, dust, and other debris, ensuring the contact surface is dry and free of particles. If the ground is uneven, level it with cement mortar; otherwise, the toilet may be unstable or improperly sealed. Additionally, if the toilet comes with a non-slip base, check its fit with the ground to prevent odor or bacterial growth caused by water accumulation in gaps.

By following standardized procedures in these areas, the installation quality and user experience of mobile toilets can be effectively improved, reducing later maintenance costs.
